Ian Darwin, a man of determination, ambition and pride is looking for a pathway to success in his current situation. However, this will not prove easy. The recent Administration changes have revealed a muddy and foggy road towards his desire for absolute power.
His flaws can knock him off this path, though. When in public, his true personality is obstructed by an enthusiastic, jovial and caring man. However, in more private settings he can be vindictive, bitter, and blunt.
His brainwashed state has put him into an ever-growing support for the Combine. His fascination for propaganda and sugar-coating has come true. Anyone else would think, "who in their right mind would be part of the Ministry of Enlightenment?", which is truly, a valid point.
A former grunt of the Civil Workers' Union, now part of a fanatic organisation, he was indoctrinated into the ways of Enlightenment quickly. "Who Wants to be a Collaborator" marked his debut as a presenter, with mixed reviews from the population. He is no veteran as of now, for that his whole life he has worked with his bare hands, and not enough with his brain. Not too much opportunity stands before him, now. Everything will unfold in a matter of time.

Ministry of Enlightenment: A fulfilling career choice. I'm doing good. Something easy for me that I can do. My colleagues are excellent and my superiors are too.
Collaborators: Men and women of a similar ilk. They are my true friends, and the ones that have made the right choices.

Civil Protection: I hold no hard feelings. The brutal behaviour is deserved. I feel some of you are too kind, and that is not good. Order shall be instilled through fear, then you may have obedience.
Overwatch Transhuman Arm: The ideal protectors, they are the vanguard of our coming evolution.

Vortigaunts: Peculiar and borderline hideous creatures. I only give you the impression that I like your kind.
The Resistance: Why must you be against something that is better than you? Jealousy? You face the threat of eradication. Are you really fighting till the end?
