What is being proposed? Searching a persons inventory without having him tied up. Adding a command "/search" or just a button "search" when you are inspecting the person. A window would open on the individuals (Who is being searched) screen asking him if he agrees to be patted down. The screen would have a timer with a certain time, when it ends the screen would close with no action being done. The whole searching action would take a longer time without using zip-ties, so it benefits the Civil Protection in time, because they always restrain citizens, before searching them.
Why is this idea relevant? This idea mostly concerns the rebel role-play. They wouldn't need to acquire zip-ties (Which are quite hard to obtain from my experience) to search a persons inventory. It is more logical this way and I believe more beneficial for role-play. Zip-ties will only be used as a restrain and a faster pat-down method.
Of course there is an option of just asking the individual of what he would find, but some people tend to lie or stall when they have valuables in their inventory.
