Female officers miss out on some things such as some animations from officers
-Acttreath, actdeny among others
-some acts that female citizens have but with the suit we dont.
-We are unable to wear the Civil Protection trench coat
-We also are unable to do gestures when we talk.
-stunstick and PDA holding animations are also weird in realistic manners they are all hunched foward as if they where about to fall.
Could Female Officers recieve some of this animations and acts, we have missing out on these for quite a while now, and we do have a large number of female cops now.

Femcops deserve none of this. Play a femcop with a male model.

A lot of the act and animations are whacky atm. A lot of them missing.

Not really thee have just never been given to female cops. We never had these things as female officers and I wish we did since female Cps have increased and it's really weird seeing some of their janky animations as well as some missing.

I'm shocked you didn't do the 'femcperp' one, maybe there is hope for them.

different skeleton between male and female cops so can't just port male cop animations over as they'd just break

Would it still be possible to redo them for the females?

I don’t understand why Willard insists on using the classic of femcitizen animations on some skinny, hunchback femcop model. Just use male cop models and plaster a female head on it when the mask is off

Generally speaking I don't think we should allow for female citizen animations to be used for CPs AT ALL. Female CP characters should have the default CP animation set ALWAYS. It looks very strange and, realistically, even the female CPs would be indistinguishable from the male CPs while in uniform.

To answer this question though, adding these things in is going to be a hard no for right now. While we do have a bunch of very talented programmers, modelers, and other such developers- animators are something we are very short on. Honestly, there are probably very few people who even understand how to correctly do valve biped skeletal animation sequences. They're very complicated, especially with blending and other things.

This is why we don't have the cat update (no animations or animators). I've been tempted to do the skeltal animations with valve IK but honestly it would be a huge pain.

Hopefully in the future we can get some amazing talented

Easy fix.
Just use the male models, and pretend their female.

This is ridiculous. KEEP female cop models. I hate to brake it to some people, but uniforms don't change the way people's bodies look. Female cop models look realistic (female in uniforms don't look like males), and the models show the diversity of the Combine that actually exists in lore.

NOT GONNA LIE, this suggestion that cropped up in a thread to improve female models.... to instead remove female CP models seems a little misogynistic.

I like the concerns Julia brought up to make the model better.

misogynistic
If you want to talk ridiculous, look no further than this abysmal take; Unsure if you ironically snort to yourself when you call people misogynists over the disallowance of a virtual model. Either way, the fundamental design of the uniform is to maintain anonymity, even between the functionaries themselves to an extent.

A lot of conjecture surrounding this whole uniform thing - my personal headcanon will always respect the original design choice of retail.

Nothing more scary than a 5'8 femcop approaching you and asking (nicely) to pwease get against the wall
I cant take it anymore
I NEED my cop anonymity
