Okay I Think i found a fix its because you probably tab out waiting to join the server but when you already joined you dont know and when you finally check you timed out cause it thought you were AFK, Or A Addon Problem or something.

This doesn't really explain on HOW I fix it.
Also, It can't be a addon problem considering I only have the WN addons, and nothing more.

It's nothing new for me but whenever I have these lengthy episodes of timing out, I usually just verify the integrity of game files. It times me out for the first try, but the second would let me in, seeing how it unfucks itself then. I'm not sure if WN's plugin for bulk-bundling Lua scripts to "improve loading time" is a part of this, but I have noticed that timing out (for me, at least) had increased a whole lot more because of it. Depending on where you connect from, either it or the server provider is problematic.

I have never had to download 3000+ Lua files on willard before.
And, normally I'd also just time out once or twice but not even factory resetting or verifying the games integrity seems to work for me.

I'm gonna be that WN dev and say that you might as well keep connecting till it connects properly, or entirely scrub your WN addons, re-download the game, and try again. Because seeing how it's Gmod, it's quite plainly a lost cause. It has such silly difficulties, one at a time, that there is no real solution anywhere for it that isn't a couple of years old, buried in some post.

Not entirely sure if I could relate to the same position as you, but I kept having these in my console whenever I timed out. And that was a fair bit of time ago.

Do you use the x64 Chromium Version? If not, that might be contributing to your timeout issues. Or it could be your internet having simple difficulty trying to connect to the server location ontop of loading the game.

Really recommend to allow your GMOD to run on x64-bit Chromium for the most optimal running and stability for the game. I don't know why exactly you're having this issue and I really feel for you as well. Not many people seem to be getting this in particular. I'll ask around.

Also check your mounted games.
