Bailey Smithson, The Unwanted Priest
"Yeah, that's what you get for cutting line at the RDT. Yeah, pick up that can, delinquent."

A remnant of the nerdy stereotype left behind from the old world, embracing the new. His family turned their backs on him when he uttered about the blessings of the benefactors. To almost all viewers, including those armed with alien creatures, it's pretty obvious the Union worked Bailey's spine out of his body, leaving him complacent and thankful for the pitiful life he gets to lead with the rest.

Day 1
"And 'lo and behold, I arrive in a different city. To City 24, District 9. A much better sight to the eyes than City Seventeen--Or was it thirteen? I honestly can't remember. Why, this must be my third transfer this month, to the extent that I feel bad for the fellows that have to constantly deal with my documentation. In one day, out the next. From what I can tell, the District's quite packed in on itself; The prosperity buildings aren't too far away from a seedy looking playground and alleyway. Still, it means it's small enough that any response from Civil Protection is guaranteed to be quick, and I won't complain about that! No siree! It should mean that work will fortunately be available in droves, or at least obvious when it is available. We all survive off of the fruits of our labor, and I'm afraid I'll need to find work soon before I realize that my crops don't have anything to harvest. I should last a few more days, at the least, but it will be nice to check out the variety of stores open in the area. I even saw an Italian store! I do find it fascinating, that out of all the foods in the world that could have survived, it would be the Italians (I'm putting my money on their pizzas, the pizza in Sicily was to die for). It'd be nice to go in and have a few slices without having to worry about my credits, but I guess for now that'll just have to wait.
I'm feeling tired, it's best if I sleep off the train-lag I've gotten, especially after the couple of unexpected stops we had."
