There is 8 trashbags in the entire city and 2 crates for a server of 50 people to share.

I thought this would be fixed by now, but for some reason it isn't. This is a major problem facing the economy, as well as the smugglers being stupid with little to no 'theme' of what they sell except for the medic.

The trashbags being fixed so its similar to City 24 is just one of the many things that needs to be fixed. If this is not done, then there is no hope for the rebel economy to ever bounce back.

Well that’s a bit overdramatic.

To put it simply, the rebel economy is a delicate one. Time and time again it’s been proven that striking a perfect balance is difficult, which is why there have been countless reforms of the same system.

No system will ever truly be perfect, unfortunately, and it will always continue to be adjusted based on the needs of the players at the time.

In C24, overinflation was a critical issue and there were countless of high-end guns in fluctuation, destroying any balance and making chips nearly worthless.

For the current map, the staff combined with CT have opted to take a much safer approach to this, heavily limiting trash bag quantity and smuggler stock. For this map, we’re committed to incentivising player interaction by means of interacting with each other through stores, which we hope to turn into prominent RP hubs after some slight reforms and through rebel-centric events.

Know that we’re always looking for constructive feedback, as some pretty critical reforms are in the works across the board regarding all of Willard, not just rebelRP.

Thank you.

I sort of agree with the post, at least just add more stuff in trashbags or crates or something idk

for a map that looks like its in disrepair and barely looked after by the combine, there sure as hell isnt enough trashbags, crates, and miscellaneous items scattered about

This suggestion should be passed, but tbh good luck with it. People dont understand shit, all you will get is "rp for your shit" even though that does nothing and rebellion stagnates, you will then be told "rebel more" and when you try to tell them as to why you cant rebel they will call you script hungry. Tbh though if someone can give a valid response as to how RP will help you get items that will advance your self as a rebel you might just want to listen too them as they may offer really good information

Neonity pretty much explained it. Go to the stores, buy shit and maybe even interact. I guarantee you, if you build a positive relationship with the storekeep/owner, you will more than likely be swimming in scripts. Likely will get a discount on scripts, scripts for free, maybe get them to funnel funds or scripts to the rebellion.

Just try it.

Does the shopkeep sell guns? How am I meant to get this money for the shops? grinding workshifts, waiting out rations? How will I make chips? Will I just grind the workshifts and rations for chips? Doesnt seem or sound all too different to bag farming imo.

Shopkeeps can sell materials that can fuel weapon crafting, or food to supply citizens with as an alternative to getting rations in the city. And by funds, I'm talking about credits that can easily go toward buying even more shit from other stores or whatever else people use credits for. Why would rebelling against an alien empire comprise solely detaching yourself from society? It just doesn't work that way, and bag farming only discourages RP. There are more ways to rebel than killing cops or amassing a mound of guns that'll never shoot a single bullet.

i wanna add in my opinion in on this, as the leader of a newly established group... we've made BIG IMPROVEMENTS with just the trashbags scattered in district 7 and outside the tunnel that leads to the district. it's fine as of now and we haven't even spent hours grinding, we just worked towards what we needed through the use of trashbags, civilian goods dealers or other means of getting what we need

As another rebel group lead, the access to resources we have is decent for now, if you plan and use the stuff you get reasonably there isn't that much of a problem, i do think a increase would be help, but what we have now is not killing the rebel economy. And slower progression is better for the server overall, allows for more time actual rping instead farming trash for hours.
also this has been over looked, but there are a lot of trash bags located in the outlands, so when its open you can get them as well as the ones in the city

What are you talking about?
Combine stores can not be used to get rebel supplies, none even sell what we need, and the stuff they do sell is much more expensive to get compared to smugglers.

"Just buy rebel equipment and items from stores" is not a solution, as you can't do that at nearly 5% effectiveness as using trash and smuggling. None even sell metal! The only useful thing you can get from stores is adhesive, thats it.

The fact that this is not being addressed now with a fix to the trash bags and crates so we can fix the rebel economy is not only disapointing, but maddening!

I trapped you with an albeit scummy tactic but it could have not worked better, you didnt rival my thoughts at the end I'll give you another shot. Where do we get this money from? Grinding credits? Or waiting 3 hours at a time "RPing" inbetween. The small add on at the end of your point is funny, I know rebelling is more than killing cops and shooting guns, its alot of things. Ironically you didnt list any ways of rebelling you just told me how the credit grind somehow gives more RP than bag farming.
