As it stands the poll is misleading.

Removing clover wont help the LFC at all lol. Clover is just a background group, who incidentally the LFC have managed to piss off numerous times. The LFC can become something, but those within it need to work on building connections with other groups in the district, be less arrogant in character (PF has had enough of this now and that's entirely why she acts how she does). LFC leads are struggling to find things to do, hence one or two going on LOA. Its not easy to make events for a faction. Rather than asking them to step down, try supporting them first, giving your idea's and such. The faction cannot grow without the support of its members primarily.
Clover is like LFC but it actually works.

If I did that, people could argue that the people that voted 'Change the current way of managing it' don't want it disbanded, or do want it disbanded, this way, it's clear what you think. The votes are explained in the post itself.

everyone dislikes the LFC, i haven't seen anyone else support it other than its own members. rebelrp is basically boring and has always been boring because there's nothing for rebel groups to do other than wander around the city disguised as a citizen doing whatever. the only time rebelrp is actually good is when there's an event being hosted and they're the epicenter of it. i always wanted to be in a rebel faction in willard but from what i can tell, the LFC has a lasting reputation on the server of being very boring and whiney about everything when they don't get what they want. i've heard complaints from both community members, the Creative Team, and the staff team about them which lessened my support for them in general.

the LFC should just be entirely replaced with new leads and start from the ground up. no one likes the faction because of its history and current reputation on the server and that should be enough for its replacement. i have nothing against its members or the leads of the faction currently, but it's just not good to have on the server anymore. either make them useful or boot them out.

I don't think you should remove the faction but instead rework it.
Most encounters I've had with the LFC they do not let me go on missions with them when I want to help, except one time which was actually fun, They gave me a gun and we raided the hotel together but sadly that was voided.
Make the faction more inclusive, open up to other players and let them RP with you guys more often, as when you do RP with the players it can be an amazing experience!

I have a question, open to anyone to answer tbh.
What has the LFC done to bother you personally, that is beyond what the general rebel cell does? I want to understand if there is genuine reason for hatred or if people are jumping on a bandwagon.

Bruh they have a fucking arctic base and a naval fleet in Greenland, They've done fuck all since they were brought in, The LFC was supposed to be the turn around for the rebellion and is instead basically a gate keeping faction that does nothing but hide in outlands and instruct gang bangers to go harass loyalist businesses and murder civilians for chips (See the motel job.)

The LFC's plot armor is fucking immense in lore, Even the SRF/ESIC/PATRIOTS Three of the largest rebel factions in lore two of which are an actual fucking Military don't have their own fleet and a host of lore bases/supply system, Yet LFC has that and SRF have done more on server than the LFC Have in forever, SLF -Which is the city branch of the SRF tried to host a nearly successful insurrection in January of 2022 (Cluster fuck but still the effort was made.) LFC as it stands is a joke, It had potential and like usual it's squandered.

Look at this shit! Where is this icly? they could be recruiting people from local cells or recruiting cells to fight under their banner arming supplying and training them, The sheer amount of resources they have are wasted, These people in lore destroyed an MAA Outpost in the fucking arctic and essentially own a continent to themselves unopposed, The LFC on the server? A few people running around in the Outlands with bandana's and basic rebel gear.

It's just a little jarring to me how we're two years in and the Resistance on main hasn't really changed how it looks and operates at all, They've made 0 efforts to unify collectively, They don't train they don't share resources, they refuse to plan a course of action and set in motion a plan to defeat the combine forces in Geneva or atleast heavily cripple them and cause chaos.

IMO a good rebel group should do a few things.
It should be secretive (Naturally).
It should share resources among members.
It should have an end-game goal.
It should go on events and make sure it's members receive atleast a barebones level of training whether that means using and stripping an AK47 or setting an ambush for combine forces or somewhere in between.
It should create rp that contributes to the narrative of an overarching story.
It shouldn't be morally good or overtly evil but neutral or in-between.
It should be inclusive giving players opportunities to fulfil roles based on their characters abilities. (I.E Soldiers, Engineers, Informants, Supply-runners)

And that's another thing, They have all these resources, Members a fucking fleet including submarines, Why don't we ever see LFC Radio to headquarters or whatever to send supplies via submarine? Have rebels launch an expedition/convoy where lets say the city has lost rations because they fucked up and people are starving to death as a result they have to meet the submarine on a coastline and make the difficult decision on the way back whether they should subsist on the rations to satiate themselves and thus have a better reaction in-case combine forces intercept them or save all the supplies for the starving citizens.

Resources! They have all these godamn resources that could be used to facilitate rp and missions or whatever, With the gear and resources the LFC have they could easily gather rebels up to even raid Meiringen if they wanted to, You would have intensely high risk but would have the reward of military equipment/vehicles and maybe even information - Not to mention you could possibly cripple the OSF's operations in the region the fact that the LFC Have all of this technology and the logistics to back these things up and we never see it honestly really pisses me off the sheer wasted potential of the LFC, I'd really like if it's not outright dissolved for the CT To grab the LFC By the ear and start doing things with it, You have the lore reasoning to where say you needed to raid a combine facility you could request some high valued hardware (Vests RPGs Machine guns) for a large heist If something drastic like this isn't done then I see no reason for the LFC To remain as it's essentially just a status symbol for the people with whitelists and it's unfortunate as I really had high hopes for the LFC.

LFC doesn't bother me personally. I have some good friends in the LFC and I don't dislike the leads either. It's just that we want the server to improve, and LFC is making the server worse, since they are supported by admins, and are getting all the players for themselves, and using that power not to help other cells, but to be a super overpowered rebel cell.

I disagree. It's not a mafia. People should know it exists and how to join it, but that's about it.
The whole world shouldn't know the names of your roster and base location that's why 90% of rebel groups get raided then we hear them whine in forums posts cus CPs went in and swatted them.

Depending on the group, people should know you or not.

Even the SRF
The SRF also make absolutely zero sense and are just generally badly written personal inserts.

Can't hop on one group for not making sense but then pass the post-federation, communist, WW2 Red Army engaging the combine in open warfare as somehow being less retarded.

LFC definitely has heavy plot armor and hopefully that will be broken up with time, possibly soon given behind the scene stuff. The fleet is something the CT had to practically beg to get changed to what it is. Remember, it used to be written as a literal full scale warfleet instead of deprecated icebreakers.

Regardless rebel lore is just generally awful In Willard save for a few exceptions. Kinda unfair to single LFC out for that when it's just one of many.

LFC is the main on server whitelisted rebel faction, SRF Making no sense or not it's not on main and can be written off as fan-fiction or a seperate thing all together where as the LFC Was brought in to save the resistance and is on main and effects people.

This logic would indicate that the retarded lore of LFC is also completlely excusable as well - which it isn't.

The lore matters. It defines everything about the world that every character inhabits. It sets the writing standard for all going forward and grounds everyone to a common base which is then ideally expanded on further down the line. Bad lore makes for a worse server overall. There is a reason people still talk about it and its not cause its an irrelevant side-note.

With LFC at least you can cut out the Arctic base, make it a local force and you would automatically fix it lore-wise, the SRF I personally hate because of its implications. In every Half Life 2 rp community I've been in there's always some weird kid that makes a Soviet Union player faction that's just some fanfic level of nonsense, in WN it was the lore team themselves that created and pushed it into the forefront of the server.

But back to the topic. Just rewrite it into a local united front of various rebel organizations operating around sector 10 (and nowhere else, no rebel group can realistically operate across continents with post 7 Hour War infrastructure) and use it as a tool to better coordinate and support player factions, it will all make more sense that way.
If the CT wants us to believe the LFC is supplying their operations in city 24 all the way from the Arctic through supply lines that the Combine are not able to intercept, that's absolutely retarded, if instead they are implying the operation in c24 is completely independent and self-sufficient, there is no need for an Arctic base and war fleet to even exist in the first place. That's writing 101, make your stuff make sense.

this entire problem could've been avoided if action directe was the faction and I was the lead :troll:

I get where you're coming from with the SRF But personally, I find it to be a fun faction to play as during their events.
