DOB Rework

to me this doesn't sound like a rework at all, it just looks like DOB wants to try new things with their stores. nothing's being reworked and it looks the same as it always has been except with newer ideas being brought to the table, like an internet cafe or a professional fancy restaurant. i like these new ideas and i honestly want to own a store myself, though finding employees is hard nowadays. just like real life!!!

also, good on Hayden for taking responsibility over the faction. the only people who cared for it up to this point is Coronel himself and the faction was pretty dead with no new material. Hayden is the hero we asked for and deserve

If hair styles with color options get added, having a barber shop would actually make for some good rp.

My approach was to be more hands off and let players basically make what they want without me intervening too much, while just offering assistance and being quality control. That failed to work and was more of a pain to sort through than anything, but it helped pinpoint the actual issue with store RP.

Looking forward to Hayden`s ideas and seeing how they work.

A Casino
- Gambling is legal under the
Sanctioned Gambling Act
- Could do card games
- Primarily reliant on rolls
- Perhaps expands into 'tournaments' of any games, maybe even Chess.
Added Casino to the list of ideas, with a link to the relevant document.

Also, after chatting with CWU management, the rent system will stay as is unless store owners can prove that they won't hoard credits and will instead spread wealth by hiring temp-employees or otherwise are using credits to encourage passiveRP. Leeway will be given to new stores and they'll get a grace period of two weeks after opening before rent needs to start being paid.

What will proving we will spread wealth look like so we can not do rent payments? I'd like to hire a crew of drug dealers to distribute narcotics throughout the City to expand my business. The problem I have now is costs is draining my credit count to 0 rapidly due to costs of drugs + rent.

Maybe have a contact stipulating if you have over 400 credits, you MUST be actively distributing it to employees or other businesses? And if you have more than 400 credits for more than 1 week if your not paying rent, rent is automatically enabled again.

Because of some things that're generally out of our hands there's no way to enforce such a rule, the rent system is the only thing that CWU management could come to a agreement on. Seeing as it's only once every 2 weeks, it's not impossible to pay. Things may change depending on how server launch goes.
