A HISTORY OF THE LIBERTIES'.
Having origins in the thick of New York City, Philadelphia, Vegas, and New Orleans - the Liberties as a gang and subculture came about through the subgenre of music speaking melancholic to voice the struggles of Latin and Black-American communities at the time, built off movements against racism, oppression and civil rights. They we're pioneered and led in song by famed artist, Lou Rainey, an African-american, Philly-born singer, who led the genre into the spotlight going into Vegas in public shows and performances. He founded the sound.
Many singers would pick up the sound - namely rappers and singers representing the Latin, Asian and Black community, more minority groups, many of which with convictions to crime and faith.
The genre of music became criminal when a year later, Lou Rainey and many other artists began manipulating their fame and power, using their entourage for criminal gain and activity, being involved in gang affiliated crimes - series of assaults, racketeering, and many other crimes dotting their record - it dominated the youth and led many young fans to follow the men into crime, forming gangs, akin to Bloods and Crips, sets would form for the Liberties.
The most well-known being the still persistent one once ran and the first founded by Lou Rainey, the Six-String Steppers' Liberties, a set operating in New Orleans modern day, more akin to a militia considering the geopolitical state of America.
When the Union took over, many historical gangs persisted and re-adjusted in society, the Liberties among them, they never stopped running their businesses.
Their main trades remaining the same;
- Racketeering. - Illegal Gambling. - Assault. - Illegal Sale of Goods. - Extortion. - Blackmail.
All whilst trying to service the community.

THE GENEVAN SET.
The Rolling 30s' operate on TRIUMPH STREET, and are led by 'UNCLE LOU'.
The set in Geneva, is the latest to be founded - Lou Rainey's newest set, the Rolling 30s', their name playing on the years of which many of the genres of music of which inspired the subculture and genre in the first place came to life, the 1930s, wherein classics we're born - blues, country, jazz, and R&B, times to be alive in the musical scene.
The crew is known for community and good Samaritan work, with some greater inspiration for their specific set from cowboys, heroic storybook heroic archetypes.
The group isn't known to be a hostile cell of gangers, or even try to maintain that perception - seemingly more just a community branding the name of the infamous series of sets and gangs, notable members of the group being whispered about, famed;
- Piers, said to be some old meat, advisor. (portrayed by @Joltastic )
- Reef' and Indiana, Wills, Graves said to be some of Lou's first entourage, former fans. (portrayed by @Russell, @Chains, @stevedelaminecraft, @holy crackers! )
- Bard, Jack-O-Lantern, Payne, Sweet and Sid, Cee', some of Lou's freshest off Geneva - locals. (portrayed by @cookie_devourer1 , @PisP , @Sydudy , @G R U G , @crat and @Yankeejet)
The crew, number roughly fifteen men. All following Lou Rainey, former singer.
A tight-knit community. Folks'd be justified to be wary - but, seems mostly harmless.
Unified do-gooders.
WORD IS, HB-3-201 IS THEIR TURF - OPPORTUNISTS'D GO THERE TO FALL IN.
// THANK YOU READING, sorry for ugly colors or format, was trying to work in gang colors, green and brown - but this is my attempt at fostering above par cityside rp, and gang rp in one,
if you have any feedback or criticism for group to do better in future, leave it below.
