Reason: There are a few reasons as to why I'm taking time away from OTA. This isn't the time nor place to go into detail but I'll provide some informational bullet points.

  1. Shitty PC: This is pretty self explanatory, the V4 of C24 seems to take a lot more out of my PC then V3 did making it almost impossible for me to fulfil my duties as a Soldier. Can't promise this'll be fixed by the time I return but I can promise I'll find ways to increase performance, as I type this the thought entered my head of not playing with maximum settings on a potato covered in lemon juice.
  2. Seriousness lessening in OTA: I have searched in my bloody mind as to why I'm so pissy about OTA, I think it is due to the fact I'm still in the serious mindset I had when I first joined with Dark and Ron in power. Back then you could be given a strike if you leave a door unlocked, you had to hold a professional attitude even OOCly (same with CPs but to a greater extent) this includes Discord, back then if you shitposted in the OTA general you'd get shat on, even the dedicated shitposting channel wasn't used very often. During the Fair yesterday I almost disabled /d due to the amount of random shite being spouted, again, back then /d was pretty much quiet only being used for minor orginisation, they'd be a shit post yes, but it would be minor and temporary. I could go on but I'm sure anyone reading this gets the point.
  3. Mental wellbeing: In the event I am horrifically wrong with my last points this is my fall back, I've sank 8 months of my life into this faction and with my graduation coming up this Friday followed by exams then an apprenticeship I have quite the bit of stress on my mind, the thought of not having to worry about OTA for a while soothed me so here I am. I need a break, when I get back I'll make sure I'm in the correct mindset for the state OTA is in currently and hope to be a good OSL.
Apologises to the leads for trusting me with this position just for me to go LOA but I think you'll agree that I need some time to touch grass and step away from my keyboard haha
