'Don't know what's up with this guy but I turn my back for one second and he disappears, blink the next and he reappears, it's like nothing happened. I swear this piece of shit does something each time he vanishes, I've been finding dozens of nosos hearts everywhere and we don't even know who's been planting them, hell one of the fucking administration folk got a bucket of green slime on them after they entered a store. Keep an eye out on this one, doesn't seem to be that dangerous so far but I have my fucking suspicions.'

The Chemist

You walk into indigent, the smell of rotting flesh and trash fills your nostrils. Amongst the smells you can sniff out... gunpowder? Taking your chance you run over to where you think the resistance is preparing their greatest battle yet but you're met with a young man in a small room surrounded by various laboratory equipment. His back is faced towards you.

'Few ounces of scraped carbon off of their instruments, sodium for a nice yellow spark...'

The man places a few ingredients into a mixer, with nothing better to do you decide to sharpen your hatchet next to him. He takes notice and gives you a wide unnerving smile, nodding towards you happily. Deciding to ignore him you sit your hatchet onto the table, picking out some sandpaper from the provided bag. From the corner of your eye you see the man jerk himself around as he stares at volumes of the chemicals he produced, his overall attitude reminds you of a lunatic.

'Ehehe... they'll love this, maybe not a symphony but an encore for sure!'

The man dumps an unworthy amount of fluids into the mixer, almost immediately you're greeted with a loud bang and a flash of yellow light; smoke fills the room and you start coughing severely. Moments later you open your painful eyes, the man coughs with you but starts to release a hysterical laugh. FLASH! Something from outside the window took a picture. You begin to hear a broadcast throughout the entirety of indigent.

Individual, please confirm your civil status with local protection teams, immediately.

'Seems like that's our cue to leave the backstage!'

You panic, running out with your hatchet, you stuff it into a locker; whether its yours or not is the last of your concern as Civil Protection rush into the street. You get shoved against the wall and searched brutally. Right before they dig into your pockets you hear a clink, looking down there appears to be... a grenade at your feet; it has a smiley face cruely drawn on it. The units around you panic as the grenade starts beeping, they run out and leave you in there to die. You start counting down, 3... 2... 1...

You hear gas being emitted from the device, you can't help but laugh out of relief. But you keep laughing, you try to close your mouth... you can't... you're laughing... the units around you watch as you fall down, you can't contain yourself. They quickly evacuate the premises and call for back-up, once they leave you finally feel the load of the laughing being released, the grenade ran out of juice. The man you just met runs back downstairs, he grabs your arm and pulls you up.

'Nitrous Oxide, laughing gas, you'll live! Anyway's lets get the hell out of here before they send in their soldiers!'

The Troublemaker

He takes you to the radioactive checkpoint, you feel the heat blaze against your face; though he doesn't rush you directly into it, thank god. Instead he takes you through a shortcut through the apartments. Seeing the delegates already at the park and rush to the ladder you two decide to stay on a floor above till they run past. Barely making it up to the stairs, you hear the sounds of transhuman footsteps subside as they rush downstairs, their vocoders speaking out terminology gibberish for you to comprehend. The man, still having a hold on your arm, takes you to the ladder before finally letting go. You both run towards victory before turning you around at a corner; not visible to any other member of the public. His uncanny smile back on his face, pulling out a tube with a string attatched the man seems rather fond with what he has produced.

'Ever wanted to know how a firework show looks like?'

You don't respond, he shrugs and runs off to Willard. Sitting down on a nearby bench you have a nice chat with a tier four collaborator about the dangerous of the indigent street. Both of you debate about it but out of nowhere you hear what sounds to be a rocket launcher firing a round in Willard street. This is shortly met by a loud BANG, the sound of crumbling rocks is heard soon after - looking up you see a nice yellow flame in the background, it fades away quickly after. Almost immediately you see Civil Protection scrambling like a herd of sheep and sprinting straight towards Willard street, the man you saw before walks out of the RDC; covered in some black dust on his face as he wipes it off with a piece of cloth. He sits down next to you, the collaborator a bit disgusted by his dirty state, the collaborator leaves to speak to someone else.

PROTECTION TEAM ALERT, EVIDENCE OF ANTI-CIVIL ACTIVITY IN THIS COMMUNITY, CODE: ASSEMBLE, CLAMP, CONTAIN.

Some units run back, they look around the street and stare at the both of you, the man next to you seemed to have retrieved a more serious demeanour, he starts to blabber to you about your safety; how you need to go back to your house and how he doesn't want you to die. The units take notice of this and walk away, they locate another underclass and they start mercilessly beating him on the spot for no reason.

INDIVIDUAL, YOU ARE CHARGED WITH ANTI-CITIZEN ACTIVITY LEVEL ONE. PROTECTION UNIT PROSECUTION CODE: DUTY, SWORD, OPERATE.

He stares cautiously at the units beating the poor man, he lets out a disgusted scoff at them. Turning back to you he grabs your arm and takes you into the distribution terminal. You both sit down and start to chat with each other. After a while you decide to ask him his opinions on the various departments in the city...

'Civil Protection? You saw how they beat him up for no reason, right? They don't care about anyone but themselves. They're afraid little sheep.'

'Civil Administration? They fucked me over, that's all you need to know.'

'Civil Workers Union? I like them, I steal from them sometimes when I need stuff for my projects.'

'The CMRU is... meh, they do their job and what-not and I do take their first aid equipment when I need it but they're the most likely to snitch and they'll probably leave me for dead.'

'The Resistance tries to fight for freedom at the cost of many casualities, we've went from a species of 8 billion to a few hundred million, least they could do is be careful.'

'An ordinary Citizen is my type of Citizen, just livin' another day as I like to say!'

'Who am I? Who are you? Haha, just kidding! Call me ehm... the troublemaker per to say! I love concerting beautiful pieces for the wonderful audience to attend to, you!'

The man leans over closer to you and pinches your cheeks, stretching them as if some old granny seeing their child again.

'Yes you! My wonderful congregation!'

He lets go, you rub your cheeks and feel rather awkward about his behaviour, the man lets out a disappointed sigh.

'Alas, the feds have no fear of such sentimental pieces of mine here. I must depart, my dear guest!'

Before leaving the troublemaker gives you a strange bow, acting like he finished some type of performance, everyone else stares at him and you strangely. He departs back to whatever cave this lunatic crawled out of.
