Its HIGHLY recommended you play a CP character for awhile before applying for a Cremator character. Both require whitelists and need to be applied for over the forums. Thus if Dej sees you JUST got a CP whitelist but haven't even made a character / or have had a CP character for 1 day, you may be denied.

Similar to applying for OTA. Play as a CP for awhile and get the hang of things. (CP experience from a different server is good, but each server tends to have different codes, RP requirements, rules, lore. Etc.)

Besides. You can have multiple whitelists and have up to 5 characters (7 if you donate). Unless you're legit trying to be a Cremator Main, you can play on multiple characters at different times.

Speaking of OTA yeah, i remember on other servers you require to reach a certain rank in cps and you're able to apply, since the only way to reach the OTA transformation thing is through proving you're good enough as a CP and get the privileges i guess ?

though the cremator faction is a whole different topic, they ain't law enforcers or fighters for the combine, just janitors for them. i don't see why i need a CP whitelist for a cremator faction but if its the only way then its the only way, would've been better with no WL tho cuz you would need to wait till both apps are open. then u apply for MPF for example, the apps for cremators get closed again then you gotta wait another month or something idk (and depends if u get denied or not)

also i don't think that the cremators are set within the MPF or OTA faction, guess they have their own *faction*

I'm not sure about other servers, but OTA here is one of the hardest factions to get into, honestly. Your RP skills and you as a player are vetted beforehand and other members are asked about you. It's because they dont want someone to make an OWS who goes around speaking like badcop from EZ:2 or just doing or saying non-OTA stuff "Hahah. He's dead" (which can be done with a OCS/Grunt sometimes, but OTA are strict with that).
As for applying, you can apply anytime they are open. There's a perk you can chose eventually as a CP thats "Transhumanization" but that doesn't guarentee you a spot in the OTA. It just means you can apply even when the OTA apps are closed and you also lose that CP character icly.

Similarly with OTA, Cremators have to be very strictly RP'd; there are rules to how many can be flagged on at once, how often they can patrol the sewers, etc. If RPing an OTA or Cremator is done wrong, it can disrupt the balance between Rebels and Combine and lead to pointless PKs, also it can break immersion, which is big here lol. Not to mention there's rules of engagement meaning you can't just light up every player you see, (unless they're posing an ACTUAL threat or being mingy, standing 3 feet away from you doing nothing is no-go)

You should honestly consider a Cremator being your alt's alt. As you can only patrol twice a day, and only for a few hours - in the sewers. In the streets, that's a no-no unless certain requirements are met, you have permission, or theres an infestation and you're requested.

(similarly how we don't allow OTA to respond EVERYTIME one random person gets killed. They follow a pretty strict response wave so as not to immediately steamroll every rebel char and thus make it unfair OOCly)

If I were you, and you want to go that route eventually. Start with a CP whitelist, play that for awhile. Then when Cremator apps open up (not that often tbh) see if you can get accepted! :)

It's not really feasible to be a Cremator main since the class is designed to be on call during certain situations. You can't stay on the job 24/7 in game

I totally have no problem with that at all, though the thing that makes it hard that the applications open at certain times, and if i get denied i gotta wait 2 weeks. and probably during these 2 weeks apps will be closed again, and tbh i have no idea what is the CP requirements to join them... other than that if apps were to be permanently open i see no problem at all in applying for cp then for cremators ;)

(also i remember my friend told me that the CP ratio here is like 5-10 citizens = 1 CP. thats another thing to point out bout the apps thing)

Hang out for a while buddy. Start as a citizen as most of us did. Make some friends get used to the server, etc. And once they open up as long as you put some effort into it you should have a good chance.

We aren't super strict here and since you've played on other servers you should have a good chance! :)
