Weird situation

I need some objective opinions about a RP situation that happened

3 People involved: A,B and C

A shows B a drink, meanwhile C comes back after being AFK and drinks the drink that was on the counter, doing a /me
Turns out the Drink was Drugged.
NOW B and C accuse A of drugging them.

Isnt this kinda fail RP? Interrupting an RP situation by doing a /me drinks the can. Without giving the others much time to react
