This server aims to be different and wants people to express 'free speech' yet the admins seem to be anal about literally everything.

CNS says 'fuck the Irish' or something around those lines and is banned for racism, despite this not being racist whatsoever and CNS literally being Irish himself. His appeal was denied for some bloody reason (lol)

Kaligni was supposedly threatened with a ban after he called someone minging an 'idiot' in LOOC.

Both myself and Takyon (an Irishman) were kicked from the server for saying 'fuck the Scottish' and 'fuck the Irish' despite us both being from said countries. I was also kicked from the server for calling two people mongrels in LOOC after they had minge-pushing me nonstop. I was kicked instantly and the admin didn't even bother to comment.

I don't understand why there's some arbitrary no-tolerance policy despite half the staff having been racist in the discord themselves. It's a joke and a massive double standard.

The staff have lots of miscommunications and even though the player had a 3 word description and DISCONNECTED mid situation, reconnected, tried to run again, we were the ones threatened with a ban and he was let leave the situation. Kek.

When we wrote the freedom policy we wanted to be sure players could be comfortable speaking their minds, because most of it is purely banter and holds no weight at all. Of course there are exceptions to it, for example. Players are visibly spamming slurs to cause trouble. Saying they hope you die, and defamation.

There's no justifications for that, so warning and banning players for saying fuck the irish is completely ridiculous. If our mods can not see whats banter and whats genuine, then we need them to understand that because we have a freedom to personal opinions, does not give you the right as a moderator to ban a player due to that personal opinion. It's abuse of the position. I will not stand for it.

The rules need to be refined. Saying "don't be racist" is way too vague a comment because, as one can see on the internet in the year of our lord 2021, many many things can be seen as "genuinely racist" when it is, in fact, just a joke or not even racist at all.

Perhaps the rules need to be specified to "Don't use racist slurs in OOC chat." Hell, it may already be that, and if that's the case whoever oversees the moderators need to bring down the hammer and bonk some heads for being a bit too ban happy.
