I dream of a time where we're finally out of under the combine's thumb. While it absolutely could be worse, there's no point in living within their strict ideals. To do so would be a sort of suicide of the human identity. That doesn't mean I align with the people rising up out of the sewers to blow shit up and kill the cops off either. In fact it's quite the opposite. Terrorism only creates suffering for everyone in our district even though you may have killed off some of the system's cogs. The real battle ought to be fought outside the city. But the ones fighting inside the city are as bad, if not worse, than the combine. As for me? I live for myself. I want to have a more luxurious life and I'll do whatever I need to do to achieve that goal. I don't mind getting on the front lines to go fight the good fight and if I die in that effort so be it. But in the city? My day to day life? That fight is almost as important if not more so because looking out for number one is my main goal anymore. The long fight will likely take decades if it ever comes to a positive end. While the government is comprised of some of the worst of us, they do offer a path towards living better and under less scrutiny. Who says I can't have my cake and eat it too? If people choose to get in the way of this endeavor I hope they're ready for the worst I can offer -- as limited as my means may be.

A little taste of the life I hope to eventually lead. It allows me to support all my ideals while staying down the straight and narrow. Now that I'm no longer dealing it's been hard to get money otherwise. This keeps me afloat and opens some doors to a hopefully brighter future.

I'm not a loyalist extremist but it doesn't take a great mind to know these people are dangerous.

While we may not have known each other long, you're the leader of the only group I can bring myself to respect. Unlike the fucking terrorist groups that keep springing up calling themselves freedom fighters, you actually want to make things better on the wider scale while also not causing local suffering. Battles are for the battlefront. On the homefront it's best we tend to the sick, wounded, and starving of our lot and do so discreetly from the masked men above. How can anyone be against an effort like this?

A tricky case indeed. A good person with what I feel is good moral fiber, but the first thing I learn about his group and followers is about the terrorism they committed. He provided me a means to an end. I feel like his intentions are good, but his instincts are shot. Far as it goes, I think he's trustworthy enough to not throw me under the bus.

Was a decent civil worker -- probably the most actively engaging one to date who hasn't been dethroned sadly. While he called me out on suspicions after seeing the sewer food I had on me, it didn't stop him from continuing to award me for the work I did. Sad to say the CWU probably lost it's best foreman or whatever the fuck you were.

Finally a party loyalist who isn't obnoxious. Gives people opportunities to work and make a living, actually charitable too. Hope that he remains safe as the war raging under the city continues to boil over.
