Yall would know the containers scattered around the map that you can loot, breach, or find a key for from an event; be it lockers, medical equipment caches etc. yknow The ones that " Johhny Rebel 69 " sweeps through leaving everyone empty handed, nulling the containers as a whole.

But fear not fellow scav! I have a suggestion that can solve this.

If someone searches and empties a container, it wont be empty for all the players, so other players can also make use of them aswell, think of it like Fallout 76's loot system. Characters dont share the same item pool on lootables therefore when they kill a boss enemy in an event, everyone will get a legendary item, junk, armor whatever.

I mean, if this was true the megagrinders would stop immediately halting RP when the container cooldown was up, I think it needs some sort of balancing act though, which would probably be lowering the amount of containers on the map

How to fuck the rebel economy even more: multiple container loot by the amount of rebels online so everyone gets their share.

ah yes, the empty jar and computer case that i get from a container will SURELY impact rebel eco

The economy buzzword is stupid. It's a roleplay server not some MMO, who cares if there's more stuff to go around, it'll just make it more fun

While I get what you're implying, there is no economy. Supply and demand is curated by the balance team, it's not natural whatsoever. As said, the proposed balancing solution is to just decrease the amount of containers present. Everyone gets their share, the share is small across the board but there's a steady income of stuff that helps people out without having to rely on the rebel quest that happens once in a million years or selling garbage which is hard to access if you have a BOL.

Not to mention that selling nails has now been nerfed, selling garbage is barely profitable anymore.

This is in reply to gr4ss

I say 'economy' but you should read 'how fast rebels can get guns which they (sooner or later) use to shoot cops/each other'. Experience has shown that the shorter said time is, the more willing rebels are to actually do the latter. Problem is: the side getting shot at doesn't find it very fun to get shot at beyond a certain threshold.

So let me counter it like this: why the fuck is rebel RP so centered on getting weapons? Why can't rebels be responsible adults with the weapons they get and not use it to attack cops every chance they get for absolutely zero reason other than doing so?

Make me one good argument while we should give rebels even more supplies, how will that improve the overall server?

Cops don't find it fun to get shot at

Rebels stop shotcopping

Cops don't find it fun because there's nothing to do

While I get what your saying and rebel roleplay should be more " Barely Hanging there " and not " Jihadi Soldier sponsored by George Bu- *AHEM* Lambda ". Loot from containers dont majorly affect "the economy". But I like your take and It should be adressed, RP good; Shotcop Bad, Simple as. I just dont see how a loot table of Junk, minor materials ( Iron at best. ) can severely harm the Rebel " Economy ". Trash trading is already nerfed so theres not much of a buff. I see this suggestion as a QoL improvement to stop Resistance Sigma Grinders to take all the precious junk from the populous.

rebels do nothing grrr!!!

oh my goodness I hate rebels why are they doing stuff!!!

There is a new looting system in progress so will technically move this to accepted as something akin was thought about but depends on viability.
