As I am playing in Willard checking each backstory and how it affects my RP, I have concluded that some backstory needs additional items to promote and remind the person he plays as Loyalist, Outcast, Local, or a Newcomer.

I thought maybe you could change the clothing system specific to the outcast for the outcast, so their clothes look ruined/damaged, which will be more fitting to the outcast roleplay and make more sense. Besides, you may add some scraps to the outcasts, so atleast they will have something to start since they don't have anything at all. I think it is pretty harsh to throw them empty handed.

For the Loyalist/supporter, I think it's pretty useful to give the loyalist at least a request device like that. Local got a flashlight so loyalists can get their request device to seem fitting doesn't it? Cause it somewhat weird the loyalist starts with nothing. It is like some newcomer.

For the Newcomer, maybe these folks need to wear their nice lovely blue suits so clothing shops will have more purpose cause it's quite empty.

For the Local, Nothing I think it should stay at it is.

I would like to know if some people agree or disagree with me :)

And please don't take it to heart cause this is my opinion.

Rations give 10 credits to my knowledge, which means 3 hours of collecting rations will give you 30 tokens. For 30 tokens you can afford the cheapest clothing item which is a beanie, I think it's better starting off with your own clothing selection.

I shouldn't have to play the game for a quarter of the day just so I can buy a flatcap.

Maybe making the clothing system much cheap will do but I see what ya talking about.
