A year ago, I first began my journey into the serious RP scene. Willard Network was a name I heard a few times while looking for a decent server to relive the memories I had from my previous server. I still remember the first steps I took when I first created Barret. A nobody with a basic story and only the HL2 lore to guide me into what would become the best story I've ever created. There was hope, despair, happiness, sadness, friendship, loss. But the biggest and most important event that transpired during Barret's story was meeting his would-be best friend, Ozbournd Trevino, played by The Gaming Plumber. Today, I want to memorise this bond with a proper send-off for both Barret and Oz, and a thank you to GP for making this already heartfelt story about a father seeking redemption not only possible but even greater than I could have possibly imagined.
I would also like to thank all those who crossed paths with Barret, your memories will be saved on my hard drive. I can only hope that more stories such as this one will come up in the future. Thank you for bringing back my love for roleplay. I'll see you on the server.
