TRIGGER WARNING: Discussion about shocking and repulsive discriminatory behavior towards Vortigaunts.
It is with grave concern that I make this post for you all. Truly, I have always tried to give those I disagree with the benefit of the doubt. Whatever the consequences, I endeavor to see the best in people, the best in our server. However, the recent conduct of the Willard Networks Short Stories Staff Team has brought to the light a very serious situation. With a heavy heart, I must tell you all of the despicable, prejudicial behavior with which the Short Stories team treats our Vortigaunt brethren. As a Vortigaunt player myself, I was deeply disappointed by this behavior, and I can only hope immediate action is taken.
Of course, I cannot make these accusations without proof. What better proof can there be, might I ask, than the behavior of manager @Hayden of Short Stories. I must warn you all that the following screenshots may be appalling and unnerving to certain individuals. Discretion is advised.
EXHIBIT #1:

Lo and behold, the first act of oppression out of many. As you can clearly see, the Vortigaunt section on the Short Stories server has been prefaced by a racial slur. For those unaware, the term "fr*g" (censored for obvious reasons) is a highly offensive epithet. The Southern Poverty Law Center has categorized it as one of the most offensive and derogatory slurs currently in use by various hate groups. You can imagine my shock and horror at the inclusion of such a brazen assault on the dignity of Vortikind, but believe me, it only gets worse from here. You might want to sit down for this next section.
EXHIBIT #2:

Disgraceful behavior, truly. To be a respected, senior member of the server, and to so openly assault an entire community with such a slur... It almost beggars belief. I'll admit that I was rather direct with my language when I called out this behavior, but I hope you can understand the pain I felt for my species. I trusted this person; I believed they were a decent individual who would never stoop to such low, offensive behavior. Needless to say, I was wrong. But, the crimes against our way of life and our culture did not stop there. Shortly after I expressed my heartfelt disappointment with this behavior, I was sent another message...
EXHIBIT #3:

Instead of professionally dealing with the issue, this ignorant and shameful message was sent. I was hoping an introspection into the self could have been achieved, so we all may be rid of some of our biases. I see now that the Short Stories team has no intention of taking this issue seriously, nor do they intend on correcting their behavior. I am mortified at this turn of events, and my dismay is immeasurable.
IN CONCLUSION
I demand swift and decisive action by the senior staff of Willard Networks. A culture of bigotry and discrimination has taken root in the Short Stories administration team, and I do not foresee a resolution to this issue without tackling the systemic nature of the problem head-on. Together, we may be able to hold the perpetrators accountable, and forge a new culture of acceptance and inclusion. Thank you for your time.
