straight up doesn't work in a 20+ player server
there's a reason DnD/other tabletops are limited to smaller parties and made specifically for it
not only that, but DnD and the like aren't made for PvP scenarios
like DnD, you need a smaller group in order for this sort of thing to work
weight isn't a thing in helix but I get where you're coming from
ultimately stats are a very ooc thing and aren't really reflective of the character itself
stats in the WN sense are always going to be pretty terrible as you require them to create things that your character would otherwise be...
I'd personally prefer it if traits were relied on entirely to what skills you go into
i.e;
primary trait: medical professional (large boost to medical, something like +15 & minor boost to crafting +10)
secondary trait: speedy gonzales (+5 to running, +5 to melee)
ideological trait...
it's a big shame something like this has to be suggested
if only some of the current GMs had any semblance of what the RP in HL2RP represented then we wouldn't have the issue of groups having excessive items or people leaving because a GM wanted to ruin their day
big agree either way
to say Duchy weren't given items would be a complete lie
you have been repeatedly given events, one of which you were given a gun (which was thankfully voided) and another in which you were given antlion extract (literally resurrection juice) amongst many other events whilst others were granted...
yeah we understand that it doesn't consume hammer resources or whatever
one of the main issues with c24 currently is the fact that it's massive
pointlessly massive
