basically you get a journal spawned with you in your inventory and you can write in it without having to place it on ground you also have multiple pages, take notes, etc. but why is this nessercary? if you forget something you did in the game before that was vital to remember you have it...

basically if you say something in a forgein language, not only will it show it in English, but also whatever it was in the original language so then you can see what it looks like to others who don't speak said language
