Non-Overwatch personnel do not perform surgeries or medical procedures on Civil Protection units. All medical operations are handled in-house, and if the injury is too severe the unit is amputated. This would not be canon in our timeline.

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

No, it does not. I've had hundreds of examples of S2RP not working in melee and firearm based combat. Everyone here knows exactly what I'm talking about if they've ever played CP for even a second. Any engagement you get into where a citizen tries to RP attacking you with a pipe or some shit...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

Sacrifices have to be made for the greater good of the system. No, S2K isn't legitimate roleplay, but it's a sacrifice we make so that the RP in other areas can be high quality. It prevents pointless, endless arguments.

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

You can shit on the idea all you want, but often times S2RP is just used as an excuse by both sides of conflict to try and squirm their way out of difficult situations that might result in their character dying or being captured. Fight RP is bad enough and we've seen plenty of examples of how...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

It's honestly not as bad as you keep professing. The negatives introduced from S2RP far outweigh the negatives that come from S2K. Sure, it eliminates 'mid-combat' RP in a way, but it doesn't change the fact that the situation happened and it has impact on characters both involved and...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

I maintain my position. There is simply too much effect on interactions by people who have their own out of character interests in keeping their characters alive to opt for any fully or majority S2RP system. Everyone will always argue in favor of their character winning the fight even when it...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

OTA are as I've always described them: yes, a faction, but also yes, a brick wall with which the server maintains its usual 'status quo'. Unlike other communities however, I believe the intent with OTA and Combine in general is yes to have them be very strong and difficult to unsettle, but it IS...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

I doubt an appropriate stand-in can be developed in two months. I would say at the very least we're going to have to tolerate S2K until this supposed replacement is developed. If we're going for an automated system it would have to be just that: automated, but also keep in the RP aspect of...

Shoot 2 Kill: The worst combat system for HL2RP.

I understand the arguments presented here but I feel that the primary benefit of S2K is that it reduces the amount of arguments over the "legitness" of a fight to absolutely zero, and this is too great a benefit to be discarded. In my many years of experience in HL2RP there is one common factor...

http://prntscr.com/pg9mw9 Any of those could work. I'd just prefer to avoid an overlap in designations so that people aren't confused and think there are three extra sectors.

Sector is a title already used to designate which sector administrator is in charge of large swaths of land mass on earth.
