In the years following The Long Haul and the events of New Frontiers, America has been changing.Music.
Sector Administrator Mark O'Brien has retired to City 30, leaving a new, previously unknown politician in his administrator position in the famous City 1. He goes by no other name than simply "The Consul." Ever since his appointment by the beloved administrator, City 1, the shining jewel of America, has gone dark. No communications have ever been received from City 1 for the past year and a half. Yet this blackout has gone curiously unacknowledged. Earth Administration, the Ministry of Civil Protection: all silent. Unquestioning.
The only hints that life continued behind the city's sealed barriers came in the form of fragmented, illicit transmissions. Smuggled messages, spliced data packets, and voice fragments—all attributed to a group of unknown insiders dubbed Proxies. Digital phantoms risking everything to reveal slivers of truth. Like siren calls, these transmissions echo across forgotten frequencies, beckoning their listeners to come to City 1... Only time will tell if these calls are for good or ill.
That was until... many days ago.
