Subject: [Scientific Breakthrough in Synthesis of Polynucleotide Chains]

Abstract

In order to meet the scientific progress the Combine have attained with their Synthetic workforce (hereafter “Synths”), Project Hominastra has begun the analysis and synthesis of genetic compounds with the help of Advisorial Consult Ω314-022:ΘADV-SCI.LOC-ΞXXII and their access and expertise in large-scale biospectrometry hardware and software.

This data can be utilized to synthesize a polynucleotide chain (e.g. Deoxyribonucleic acid) and subsequently synthesize a pseudobiological genome.

Methods

Detailed below is a series of instructions for the operation of a newly constructed biospectrometer for use in the analysis and sequencing of biomatter, as detailed by Ω314-022:ΘADV-SCI.LOC-ΞXXII:

  1. ACTIVATE SYSTEM. ENSURE POWER LEVEL ~760 WATTS.
  2. ENGAGE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE ON TERMINAL: R1B3R2R3R6B3B1B6L332
  3. PREPARE BIOLOGICAL MATTER SAMPLE (APPROXIMATELY 6 GRAMS MAXIMUM PER READ)
  4. INSERT BIOLOGICAL MATTER SAMPLE INTO RECEPTACLE PORT SITUATED BELOW SEQUENCE BUTTON R1
  5. ENGAGE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE ON TERMINAL (READ): R6B2B3R4L211R2R1R2B1B1
  6. HOLD UNTIL READING SEQUENCE IS COMPLETE
  7. SAVE READ SEQUENCE UNDER PROPER ETIQUETTE (PROJECT NAME/SAMPLE ORIGIN/SAMPLE #) WITH SEQUENCE: R1R2; UTILIZE KEY-BOARD FOR LABELLING

Something to note with the reading and sequencing of DNA- and genome-samples is that the biological matter attached to it must be kept fresh in order to avoid corruption and decay.

Results

Following the insertion of 10 biological samples, Advisorial Consult Ω314-022:ΘADV-SCI.LOC-ΞXXII has been able to synthesize a series of carbon-based genomes that began gestation at the time of this report (03-11-2019).

The integrity and capabilities of these ‘Homo Artificialis’ are unknown as of this date, but further information will be catalogued in detail in an upcoming report.
