Citizen a perspective shift in the youth raised by the new order

i wish i was like the other children
but i was sent off to the industrial landscape

i wish i was able to socialize with my generation
but i only got to know the grown-ups in the dim factories

i wish i was given a proper education
but i was only given an education on how to operate a sewing machine

i wish i saw the beautiful blue sky that boasted its daylight onto the ones below
but i only saw the oncoming industrial smokefall descending onto the concrete hellscape



i wish i knew what stood behind the steel barriers


but in the end, i was only destined for the textile factory. and that's how it will be.

and how it should be.​
