Backstory:
Abby Crown’s life began in 2001, as the world was falling apart. The news of extra-terrestrial invaders had not yet reached the masses, so she was born in a local hospital, where her mother had been forsaken by her husband with the vow of returning one day to help raise their daughter. But he never returned. He vanished with most of the money and property they had, leaving his wife to struggle for Abby by herself. This was a nearly impossible task, and Abby grew up bitter and angry at her father for leaving them and breaking his promise. From a very young age, her mother would labor endlessly and until very late hours, unable to come home and provide the affection and warmth a parent would offer to their child, reading stories or making dinner. Abby had to make do, and so she learned to create stories for herself, talk to her own mind, and cook with whatever scarce supplies were at home. Throughout the years, she developed various mental disorders, which still haunt her to this day. As a result of her self-growth, she started hearing voices, seeing things that were not there, and often-times also having drastic changes to her personality and identity, as if someone else took the wheel and lived on within her body. When her mother finally noticed, she contacted the proper helplines, which demanded that she take Abby to a psychiatric checkup as an emergency.
And so it was, given her state, they admitted Abby without even a second thought. It is there that she remained the rest of her life, living a miserable existence within psychiatric wings, many times locked and restrained, injected with anti-psychotic drugs and given a wrongful array of treatments which never truly helped. It is there she met all those who she knows, friends and other individuals who she managed to get linked to. Once reaching adult age, she was transferred yet to a different hell, but for those who are no longer considered kids. Everything was worse, all her nightmares were suddenly becoming reality.
Amidst this chaos, a light appeared. For many, the seven-hour war was a great tragedy, but this event provided Abby with an escape from the facility she was maintained at. Given the mass destruction, documents of her disorders and hardships were terminated, and today she forms part of an orderly society, while still fighting the troubles of her mind and past.

But that may be in a very long time, for now I like you. You're nice, yep.
