Before the war - Family and life
Born 1982 in Baquba, Iraq. Abdullah grew up, together with his 4 years younger brother Kareem to a strict religious family.
His mother Djamila always educated the two young boys at home with Qur´an lessons and taught them about the history of Iraq and Islam. The mother had no job, just staying at home and being the housewife. Djamila noticed Abdullah´s disinterest in Islam, he called himself a muslim, but did not like to join prayers and visit local mosques. Unlike his brother, Kareem loved praying and going to the mosque, Djamila had clearly a better relationship with his younger brother.
The father, Khalid was working at an oil field. Working from 05:00 until 20:00, he was seen rarely at home, since he always visited a local hookah café after work. He would use to hang out there until midnight , smoking cigarettes and hookah, talking and drinking tee. Abdullah did not love his father as much as Kareem did, but since Khalid is the father, Abdullah showed him the respects needed.

The family Irfan was a poor one, having not enough money to let the two boys visit school, that´s why both of them also started working early. Kareem started working in a local coal mine with the age of 14, working almost the whole day from 07:00 until 18:00.
The two brothers never visited school, while his younger brother was working in a coal mine, Abdullah wanted to show his loyalty to Saddam Hussein and joined the local police forces.
After accomplishing his training, he was stationed at a toll station, controlling passing drivers. If he found illegal things like drugs and guns, he could be easily bribed, just being after the money.
7 Hour War - Hell
The family Irfan was shocked by the portal storms coming in and the invasion of the combine forces. They family Irfan wanted to flee to the Iraqi refugee camps, but the father did not want to leave the home and wanted to stay. The whole family stayed inside until the war ended, combine forces rushed into Baquba and arrested everyone.
Deportation - Welcome... To A New World
The combine forces used a prison in Baquba to decide who is going to which city. While the family Irfan was waiting together in one cell, Djamila and Khalid were both dragged out, while Abdullah was holding the hand of his mother, he would have promised to take care of Kareem. Kareem and Abdullah would never see them again. Hours of more waiting in sadness and hatred, both of them were deported to city 13, Paris.
City 13 - Punishment
January 2018, Kareem and his brother Abdullah were in a store together. Abdullah stole two ration packages and hid them in his jacket, while walking out, local Civil Protection Officers ordered the both of them to face the wall for a search. Kareem had no clue of Abdullah stealing the two rations, so he walked towards the wall and Abdullah was going for a sprint, trying to escape the situation. Two Civil Protection forces hit Abdullahs leg, forcing him to fall on the floor. Kareem rushed towards Abdullah, receiving a hit with the bat against his head from the side, knocking him out for a second and just seeing the blurry scene infront of him going in action.
While two Civil Protection Officers held Abdullah by his clothing while being on the floor, four other Civil Protection Forces started the most extrem beating Kareem ever witnessed, hitting Abdullah on his head, torso, legs, feet, arms and hands. Kareem would bust out in tears, screaming to put the situation to an end, but no one listened. Abdullah was covered in blood not moving anymore, Kareem stopped the screaming and was not even being able to move in any way. His whole body was shivering and paralyzed by the scene. The Civil Protection team carried Abdullah away and he saw nothing more than his little brother laying on the floor in tears.
Abdullah was carried to the local hospital, being in a coma for about one week. After he got out, still heavily wounded from the punishment, he was in search for Kareem. He looked for him at home, asked neighbours and was searching him until the nights would fall. Abdullah had no idea Kareem was relocated to city 24.
These times forced Abdullah to devote himself to god again...
City 24 - Still In Search
About more than one month later after Kareem dissappeared, Abdullah was relocated to city 24. He wandered around in the city, feeling alone and sad, not knowing where his brother was. One time, he sat at the campfire in the slums, talking to some people, the topic shifted over to his brother. While talking, a quiet woman listened from the distance to the conversation, interrupting and asking who his brother was. After he told the name of him, the woman invited him to a quiet corner of the slums. The woman was Laura Pamlova, Kareems closest friend. After telling Abdullah, that Kareem died a while ago, he would have falled onto his knees crying in anger and guilt.
After some time had passed and times had become better, Abdullah would continue his life like a normal citizen.
City 24 - The Return [OOC: Jan. 2025]
Abdullah returns to City 24. Long forsaken the diary of his was. He walks around the city as memories start to flood his mind. Long ago he had lost all his friends and Acquaintances. Wandering, living, surviving- that´s all he had left. But of course like always, his journey picks up some pace again...
