The vintage radio is great but lacking content which makes it too repetitive and annoying in a short time. If more songs can be added, it will be much much more fun to listen to it.

Here are my song suggestions to be added to vintage radio:

* Ain't That a Kick in The Head - Dean Martin
* Blue Moon - Frank Sinatra
* Jingle, Jangle, Jingle -Kay Kyser
* Hangover Heart - Hank Thompson
* It's a Sin - Eddy Arnold
* Lone Star - Tony Marcus
* Veni, Vidi, Vici - Ronnie Hilton
* Keep a Knockin' - Little Richard
* Atom Bomb Baby - Five Stars
* Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry

Most, if not all of them are from Fallout New Vegas radio.

Ah yes, the "I'm 13 years old and just discovered '50s music" starter pack.

Despite listening to those songs, I specifically avoided adding anything featured in Fallout cause the association would honestly pull me personally right out of the experience. I'll look into adding more tracks for the vintage radio since that one seems to be used a lot.

Agreed, would sort of be sat there just feeling Fallout vibes, not HL2RP vibes. Good songs though

Well, it's not ambient music, it's just a radio that has extremely low volume.

That has alot more of an effect when you're just sat in a shop with the radio on waiting for customers then you'd think haha

The point of the radio is to set the tone of the area you're in. Having a bunch of highly recognizable songs that would draw people's association to another game wouldn't necessarily build upon the atmosphere, but rather break it.

Not only does this not fit in with hl2rp. But it is also something which quite commonly eats performance. Each time we add an addon, we always do a code and performance check. Stream radio has been suggested many times in the past, but we deny it each time since it comes with quite a few hidden performance issues and from what I heard, it generally has an odd setup. So we are avoiding it at this time and keeping it as a denied feature.

So yeah, not adding that.

Apart from that @hawke has provided some new songs to add to the vintage radio, so that will be done soon.
