Purpose

In response to this thread: https://willard.network/forums/threads/the-talk-range.11958/#post-93835

I threw the following suggestion on the thread:

"Should have an option where you could scroll wheel your visible talking range bubble, as with speed on escape from tarkov"

The comment received a significant support (8 agrees and 2 comments), so i am now opening a separate suggestion for it.

Description

This suggestion proposes a feature for the gameplay which involves the ability to adjust your speech range using your mouse wheel.

By holding ALT + Scrolling your mouse wheel, a relatively transparent red bubble will expand or condense around your character which shows the range of your next speech.

There are parameters that define what range constitutes as whispering, talking or yelling. There is a maximum range for yelling which cannot be exceeded.

Result

The aim of the suggestion is to allow more control to players in limiting who they want to talk to and being sure that their characters are being heard.

It also allows for increasing normal speech being heard in a bigger room, which would otherwise have had no reason to require yelling in.
As in the complaint that inspired this suggestion.

It furthermore enables visibility for unintentional talk being heard, such as seeing when the bubble clips through walls or roofs.

ACCEPTED but I don't think it will be a scroll wheel thing, sadly (might be up/down or something else idk).
