Topic/subject: Rebel or combine faction setting up defenses or structures that affect the opposite faction during AP
Whom it may concern: (i.e faction or a particular person whatever) Both the combine and rebels
Summary: Well, pretty much, I've seen this happen many times, and I think it should stop, as it's something the opposite faction can't phisically stop, and that is setting up structures such a forcefields, or fortified positions in the case of rebels
In depth analysis of the issue: Many times, we've seen both factions get upgrades to their positions built during the agreed perspective timeout. The issue is that since it's done during a time when players can't access the server, no one can counter it, so it mostly feels unfair for the opposite faction (For example, the combine can build a forcefield in the slums during AP, and rebels didn't have the chance to stop it)
Suggestion for improvement: Limiting the construction of any structure that can affect any faction to ocurr only when the server is up and it's reasonable to think that the chance to be countered exists (This includes both not doing it during AP, and obviously not doing it at a time in which there obviously isn't anyone online to counter because the server is almost empty or below 30 players, for example).
Example:
This was built the last AP. It's completely unfair, since it blocks off the quest board and the bunker for rebels, and they had absolutely no chance to attempt a more than feasible counter attack, as it was built quite litteraly on the storm system.
