Your average WN char bio art looks like someone made a person out of plastic and then smeared it in glitter. Stuf looks so bad sometimes that it's downright hilarious.

I hate it, everyone looks perfect on every bio (most at least), it is insane the level of AI use on character images.

It allows me, someone who is not artistically inclined, to better depict my character. I think it is neat. I like when you can stylize it because the realistic ones look bad.

I think the two above are better than most AI images people use. Just like, make it be done in pencil sketching if ur gonna ai generate it or disco elysium style.

Making AI art look half decent isn't hard there is no excuse for a bad character photo. This is your chef d'oeuvre are you really gonna use a shit photo?
