-BACKSTORY- Born in a town in Russia, where winters were harsh, crops were difficult and families had to work to survive, Alena was one of the few children who barely survived out of will and determination from the horrible conditions. Losing her mother as a baby, her father kept her taught to survive until he died of a horrible sickness when she was 11. Not a year later, the combine had invaded and she was off the radar for some years. Eventually when she was an adult and she was found by a patrol, she had surrendered to the union, mostly out of desperation to be alive. Being tagged and allowed to be part of the people of City 3, she did what she knew best. She worked at any place where strong hands were needed, she barely learned english through some folks teaching her keywords as well. Eventually she wished to fulfill her father’s tradition of partaking in military duty, hearing that CSF was an answer. When she found out that City 3 had no such thing, she traveled to City 24 to attempt her fate, only for it to be denied. Without a chance to prove her worth and determination, she joined the CRU and later the CWU, hoping she can earn her rightful death in a world that guarantees that her family lineage will be the last. She had to ensure all knew her family’s name. And when she gets drunk… Blood will be shed and lives will be ended. -FAMILY- MOTHER: Irina Medvedeva | Deceased. FATHER: Alexei Medvedev | Deceased. UNCLE: Ivan Medvedev | Alive in City 3. | -APPEARANCE- Despite not showing much muscle, she’s a woman who’s done quite a workout with survival. Her height is a testament, which can be seen as reassurance or as intimidation. She sticks to clothing that fits her job or her civilian attire during unrest. She might sometimes get called ugly, to her annoyance. -PERSONALITY- Overall a serious woman with goals lined with giving herself a fitting end. When not musing about how she’ll be remembered, she focuses on teaching survival skills and making sure that people can learn the importance of working hard, but also smart when needed. She can be a gentle giant, long as people can respect her, else she’ll be a reckoning bear to fear. -LIKES AND INTERESTS- She admires strength and determination, but also when things should be done right. She will feel more friendly and relaxed to those who treat and see her with respect, to which she will gladly return it.
