The most ironic ending - Struck down by the people who were on his side.
"Keep your head down, kid." ~ Alex Weaver
I didn't keep my head down. What a horrible horrible mistake...
In a way I betrayed myself by... finally being myself.
I would have ended up shot in a Combine cell someday anyways... To be struck down by a fellow anti-civil person when my weapon was mere meters away, locked in a closet, is however truly saddening. I was perhaps too optimistic, our plan would have never come to fruition anyways. I would have been locked up, tortured and shot.
In any case I would have died for nothing. Oh well... what a horrible world we left the youngsters... but...
The flames of revolution will only fizzle out when the last human dies. Carry on the torch, kids.

My killer @Anilife You saw a piece of fabric and saw it fit to kill because of it. Although I respect and encourage the anti-loyalist sentiment, killing would never be the answer... Why did you have to take such drastic measures? Are you insane? I would have loved to help you and your friend... had you not been criminals of the lowest sort. I'm sure I was not the only target and I'm sure my loyalist armband just meant more to gain, it was never the reason for the attack. You were a bad person. You belonged in prison. I never wanted you to be shot. However you brought this upon yourself. It'd have put a smirk on my face to see you pleading for your life after you took mine so haphazardly. You probably never though an old loyalist would spell your demise, eh? Greed spelled your death. Ironic too, isn't it?

| CCA I... don't know what they do, to be frank. I distrust them somewhat, but I am actively trying to garner the favours of people that are in the CCA. It's only dangerous to be in high places, not to have friends there. The list of people I know in high places grows. I feel safer by the day. | OTA Those... things are not human. I heard the rumours about them, but I couldn't believe it until I had to work right next to them. They have a weird aura around them. I'd rather not stay in their proximity for long. |
| CWU They've grown on me. I've not met a member of CWU that I don't like. It's almost like a family in there. The CWU is not only my site of work, it's my life, really. Keeping the city afloat, making sure everything works, this if what I live for. | CMU They're doing the lord's work in that little hospital of theirs. I respect their work whole-heartedly. |
| Civil Protection You're about as bad as Loyalists | Citizens I've gotten to know almost every facet of the general citizenship. They're overall "gucci" as the kids would say, alright to anyone who doesn't know that term. |
| Rebels I was a part of the rebellion at the point of my death... I had hoped to be one for much longer. It was an honour serving humanity. You are fighting the good fight. | Loyalists True loyalists tolerate genocide, they support a totalitarian regime... All in all the worst scum of this earth. Noone should be shot, but when this entire thing blows over, every single one of you should have to live with the guilt of having supported the Combine... Germany had a similar thing... you lot are as bad as they were. |
| Slummers I've heard people talk about like them, as if they were... less than human. I don't see that. You're citizens, like the rest of us. Where they live doesn't define them. I'm trying my best to improve your lives, kids. Food, water... I even talked to Director Maesroe about having you folk treated in the clinic. It's wholly unfair, you're humans deserving of exactly the same respect that loyalists receive. | The Combine You style yourselves a civilised bunch. Saviours even. Ha! What a cruel joke. I've come to accept you over the years... that was a mistake. I should have seen your ways far earlier... I was blinded by my own arrogance and desire to survive... I've lived long enough. I'm ready to see her again. And I'm ready to make this city a better place to live... I'll do it my way. |
A peek into Alex's mind - A not very diligently kept journal
Something peculiar is going on. This is the third time in the span of... days... that Civil Protection has re-educated friends of mine. First Jane, then Riggs, then that Locke fellow. What has them riled up? Am I next? I'm actually afraid, for the first time in months, maybe years. Have I lulled myself into a false sense of security?
I would have thought it was citizens that Civil Protection would beat up for no reason, not workers from the CWU!
I need to stay cautious and vigilant. This is not a comfortable situation. Maybe I can talk myself out of a beating by playing my Senior Worker card? Maybe I can say I was ordered to hold a priority shift by Hoxworth himself... I'll make it up on the spot, should the need arise.

I talked to James Hansson, he's a good lad. He said someting rather clever today, quote: "Politics is a dangerous place to be involved in.". He's got a good head on his shoulders, I just hope he keep it down, ha! I'm afraid he might try to to reach too high though, despite his own doubts. I'm very glad to have sponsored his friend Gustav to join, I believe with enough mentoring he can be put on the right track.
The execution... young bodies dangling from the bridge I passed almost every day... a cheering, inhuman crowd... Raymond, Samuel, Edward, why? Just.... why...
A crying Jane in my arms, needing to be consoled.... what a horrible day
In unrelated news... I have doubts. Doubts which I will not speak aloud, not even in my own mind. They're there, ever present, I feel them. I told Raymond that I lost someone in the fog, forgot they were even there... that was not a joke... did I lose myself?

What horrible two days. Nikola went absolutely insane... I hope he's alright now. I will tell Raymond about this, despite him telling me not to. Just the mere fact that *the fog* could have something to do with this scares the living hell out of me. I thought it was a joke?!
I encountered rebels twice today... Once when installing the windows on Indigent 1... he was just standing there, a red suit jacket like the people from the CCA wear. Then he pulled a gun on me. I don't know how he ran, Civil Protection was right there...
Then the scene on Triumph. Three of them, weapons drawn. Broker introduces himself to me. Despite his threatening appearance at first, he didn't seem half bad in the end... though first impressions don't tell a lot about a person...
A tempting offer has been made to me today. I had to decline... for now

Supervisor, huh? My oh my, Sammy really did me a huge favour there.
Being management opens so many new possibilities to keep myself safe. I feel like my best bet is to make acquaintance with protectors themselves. It's quite the step-up from Senior Worker, a position that is really just a Worker with a fancy green jacket in terms of safety.
Walking around with that well-stitched, red jacket immediately made me feel more safe. Even Civil Protection treats me better now, it's simply amazing what a simple colour-change inspires. It feels natural to be... well, on the same paygrade as Raymond, Hox and Samuel. Of course they're still my higher-ups, but I don't feel like there's a big separation between them and me anymore. I think that's a good thing... I wonder what they think about it...

Pete Rean says "Ugh... Agh ugh... Agh-hgh ugh... Oghhh."
Alex Weaver says "Pete, wouldn't that be a perfect location for a vending machine?"
Pete Rean says "SURE."
Alex Weaver says "It's got everything I need! Customers..."
Alex Weaver says "Customers..."
Alex Weaver says "Lots of customers...."
Alex Weaver says "CWU mostly, but eh."
Pete Rean says "Might be hard to refill."
Alex Weaver says "Why?"
Pete Rean says (to you) "No permits."
Alex Weaver says "Eh, I know a lot of vendors."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Maybe."
Alex Weaver says "They'll let me buy their stuff... And my profit will be because of convenience, really."
Alex Weaver says "What do CWU workers want after a long workcycle? A cold, refreshing UU-branded beer."
Alex Weaver says "No?"
Pete Rean says (to you) "After a long workcycle i just wanna work more."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Maybe its just me."
The scene would be set in the break room of the CWU warehouse. Their last co-worker had left, it was only Alex and Pete.
Alex turns to face Pete.
Alex Weaver says "My train is here, Pete."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Train?"
Alex Weaver says "You didn't hear it arrive?"
Pete Rean says (to you) "I did not no."
Alex Weaver says "Oh, well, would you be so kind as to accompany your old man to the train then?"
Pete Rean says (to you) "Sure, lead the way;."
Pete was staying behind, not catching up with Alex.
Alex Weaver says "The train isn't waiting for us kid."
You have unlocked the door.
The pair would now be in front of the warehouse, standing on Victory amidst heavy construction equipment... in reality it's grimy and dirty, but one of the pair is lost deep in memories, seeing old, forgotten people wander the streets, living their normal lives.
Alex Weaver says "It's marvelous, really."
Pete Rean says (to you) "What is?"
Alex Weaver says "The trains, they always run on time."
Alex Weaver says "Have you ever ridden the train before?"
Pete Rean says "I have yes."
Alex Weaver says "I hear it's the first time it leaves from this city."
Pete Rean says "Oh i dont know about that."
They would now be in the tunnel between Victory and Triumph. Alex is staring at the wall. It is covered in propaganda posters and rotten paint now and yet all he sees is ivy covered brick walls and a piece of clothing made of white fabric. A veil.
Alex Weaver says "A sight to behold."
Alex Weaver says "It's a shame to depart."
Pete Rean says "What reason are you departing for?"
*** Alex Weaver chuckles. "Oh you..."
Pete Rean says "Work?"
Alex Weaver says "Everyone departs, don't you know?"
Alex Weaver says "I'm not the first, I won't be the last."
Pete Rean says "Not forever though."
Pete Rean says "Right?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh, I don't know that yet, kid."
Alex Weaver says "You were always the inquisitive type, eh?"
Alex Weaver says "A bright young one."
Pete Rean says "Not sure what that word means-."
Pete Rean says "Oh."
Pete Rean says "Yeah!"
Pete Rean says "For sure."
The pair would now be in front of the abandoned store on Triumph. It hasn't seen customers in decades, the wood is beyond rotten, mold has taken a heavy toll, the metal rusty to the point where it falls apart under its own weight. And yet Alex looks at it with amazement, as if he was looking at a busy and vibrant supermarket that is displaying its delicious goods in the display window.
Alex Weaver says "It's just... Crazy to think I only bought my groceries here not too long ago."
Alex Weaver says "And now... I won't see it for a long time."
Pete Rean says "You bought groceries from here?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh yes? Where else?"
Pete Rean says "Anywhere? You were probably the last person keeping this place afloat."
Pete Rean says "Well..."
Alex Weaver says "Oh yes..."
Pete Rean says "Whats left of it anyway."
Alex Weaver says "It's beautiful, isn't it?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh... My train!"
Pete Rean says "Ye, dont wanna miss it now."
Alex Weaver says "You're right."
The pair got dangerously close to the train station. They were at the entrance, Alex moved a bit to the left. He was staring directly at the generator. He was seeing a stall, built atop the strain station stairs, a young woman behind it. She was smiling at him.
Alex Weaver says "Wow... To think back what happened *right here*."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Hopefully nothing bad."
Alex Weaver says "I just saw her standing there..."
Pete Rean says "Who?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh, the train Pete!"
Pete Rean says "Yeah!"
They were inside the station now, looking at the abandoned ticket station. Only filth and garbage could be seen behind the windows. Broken glass littered the floor. And yet Alex could see the busy pulse of a working train station, ticket vendors giving advice.
Alex Weaver says "Ah, that's where I bought the tickets to our honeymoon..."
Pete Rean says "Who is this *our*?"
Alex Weaver says "We were always tight on money..."
Alex Weaver says "It only sufficed for tickets to the next town over."
Alex Weaver says "But that train ride..."
Alex Weaver says "It was the best in my life."
Pete Rean says "Yeah..."
Pete Rean says "I'm sure it was."
*** Alex Weaver wipes something from his eye
Pete Rean says (to you) "Erm- the train..."
Alex turns away from the abandoned ticket counter. He turns to face Pete.
Alex Weaver says "Oh..."
Alex Weaver says "Hm... Yes, the train."
Alex Weaver says "I have decided against it."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Really?"
Alex Weaver says "I'm staying."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Oh."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Where were you off to anyway?"
Alex Weaver says "The next town over."
Alex Weaver says "To her."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Wife?"
Alex wordlessly turns to leave, walking out onto Triumph.
Alex Weaver says "So that's where we are now?"
Alex Weaver says "What has become of this place."
Pete Rean says "24?"
Alex Weaver says "Geneva."
Pete Rean says "Oh."
Pete Rean says "Geneva..."
Pete Rean says "Always been like this."
Alex Weaver says "Always?"
Pete Rean says "I'm not sure, this place has never had a *always*, it's always changing."
Pete Rean says "Like a mutation."
Alex Weaver says "It used to be Geneva."
Pete Rean says (to you) "Still is in the eyes of some."
Alex Weaver says "It's always been Geneva..."
Alex Weaver says "Oh... My train."
Alex Weaver says "It's left the station."
*** Henry R. Teabag walks up to the men, looking visibly shaken
Pete Rean says "You okay?"
Alex Weaver says "I'll get to see her again, Pete. Don't you worry."
Pete Rean says "With time."
Henry R. Teabag says "Not exactly."
Pete Rean says "Explain."
Henry R. Teabag says (to you) "You going somewhere, Alex?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh no... That's in my past now."
Alex Weaver says "Has always been, really."
THE FALL
Within the factory, the sound of a loud splash can be heard.
Alex rushes inside, interrupting his talks with two potential applicants outside of the warehouse. He pants heavily as he arrives.
He arrives at the scene, discovering a man fully covered in a viscous, white substance.

Alex Weaver says "Uhhh... What?!"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Th-..gah shit!"
Alex Weaver says "Are you alright?! How did you get in here?!"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says (to you) "I-nee-ah fuck, damn it!"
Behind the unusual pair, a workshift finds its end, noone other than Alex had noticed the unfortunate man covered in glue.
Maxim Kowal yells "Dump the water out of buckets in that container."
Alex rushes to get the attention of the nearby officer.
Alex Weaver yells "Officer!"
C24:i5.KING-6 says (to you) "<:: Huh- what? ::>"
Alex Weaver says "I need you over here."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: What the-? ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Stand back! ::>"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Stand back!? I need to go to the hosiptal?!"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: I said stay, back. We don't know what kind of chemical is on you. You'd be contaminating the entire street. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Who in our benefactor's name are you? Why are you in the warehouse?!"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "I can't see shit."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Just get out of my way! I'll walk there myself!"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Get a doctor, if available. I'll hold him 'ere. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Not until you have answered my questions."
Alex Weaver says "Right..."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Sit tight...here. ::>"
Each step the 'white' man takes, is met with a sticky squelch. And his feet seem to stick to the concrete beneath him.
*** C24:i5.KING-6 pulled out a handkerchief and threw it on the ground.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Theres a rag, clean your eyes. ::>"
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "Is there a doctor available? We have had a workplace accident at the warehouse, we need urgent medical attention."
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "Some sort of chemical has gotten onto an unknown person."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Maybe prepare some hazard suits. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Mhm..."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Please."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: How did you get in 'ere? ::>"
*** Alex Weaver quickly throws on his very own suit
[CCA-CWU] Lucy Russell: "Fuck, no doctors are available. I'm enroute."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Answer my fucking question or the chemical on your body will be the least of your issues. ::>"
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "It seems to be glue..."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "I was trying to get out! I was left in here during the final workshift and I got locked inside!"
[CCA-CWU] Lucy Russell: "Are you sure that it is glue, and not a different chemical?"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: That seems highly unlikely. One of the workers would've seen you, and let you outside. ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: More importantly, *why* are you covered in this...smegma? ::>"
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "I'm rather sure it is glue..."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Please just let me go to the Union Medical and clean up, I'll tell you about it later. I can't hear much anyways. This shit is in my ears."
C24:i5.KING-6 speaks into his radio: "<:: K-6 to Q-7, are you 10-6? Might need an additional here. ::>"
[CCA-CWU] Lucy Russell: "Right, I'm in hazmat, since you claimed it to be unknown."
Despite being ordered otherwise, the sticky man slowly makes his way to the warehouse entrance, seemingly intent on leaving. The protector is having none of it, whirling their stunstick in the air and letting it crash down onto the man's head.
**** C24:i5.KING-6 rushed up to the man as he hit is fucking skull in
Alex Weaver says "Hey!"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Hmph. ::>"
Lucy Russell says "Christ. I don't even want to touch him, at this point."
The officer's stunstick gets stuck to the man's head!
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Shit! ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: I can't...get it off! ::>"
Lucy Russell says "Hold the stunstick, and drag him."
*** C24:i5.KING-6 struggles with his stunstick, attempting to get it off the man's head.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Lemme just... ::>"
[LOOC] C24:i5.KING-6: Can I strength roll for it?
Alex Weaver says "Wh- Ms. Russell, there must be some sort of chemical that makes glue liquid again, right?"
Lucy Russell speaks into his radio: "Code blue."
Lucy Russell says "Indeed. He needs to be taken to the quarantine shower to get that washed off."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Well congradulations! You've turned me into a fucking popcicle!"
*** C24:i5.KING-6 began dragging the man as his stunstick's still attached to his head.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Let's...go. ::>"
The officer's hands get stuck to the man as he goes to pick him up
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Oh no."
Lucy Russell says "Do *not* let him touch anything."
The unlikely group start making their way to the CMU clinic. They are surely a spectacle as two hazmats, one officer and one completely white man roam the streets.
THE CLINIC
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Don't touch me!"
[A tall caucasian man seemingly in his...] says "Jesus."
Lucy Russell yells "Back!"
Alex Weaver yells "Stay clear!"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "I need to get this shit off before it gets hard!"
*** Alex Weaver sighs behind his mask before peeling himself out of the suit
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "I truly appreciate the quick reaction, Ms. Russell!"
[CCA-CWU] Lucy Russell: "Yeah- yeah- No problem- Fuck-."
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "Is everything alright up there? Need extra hands? I'm still in the vicinity."
Whatever they are using in the shower...it don't work. It seems to make the problem worse.
*** [A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] steps back with a glove and a baton stuck to his head.
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "I need air! I can't breathe!"
Lucy Russell says "Well, scientist? Got any ideas, or are we just letting this guy's throat seal?"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Help."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Okay."
***' Did the CP manage to free himself?
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "If he panics. It will be worst."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Please let me get some air!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Uhh."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
Alex Weaver says "Some weak acid perhaps?"
Alex Weaver says "To dissolve the glue?"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Seems like it's making worse. ::>"
Indeed the CP is free. Though his glove and baton are quite comically stuck to the man.
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Which glue is it."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Normal glue?"
Alex Weaver says "No clue."
The glue covered man has a mind of his own, once again he starts to walk away despite being ordered to stay in the quarantine. Paradoxically he walks towards where he just came from. The adrenaline must make him think he'd breathe easier outside.
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] yells "STAY INSIDE."
Lucy Russell yells "Where the fuck are you going?"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] yells "Air! Need air!"
*** Alex Weaver quickly throws his suit back on
Alex, who had gone away from the situation just minutes prior, now gets back into the thick of it...
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "*Coughing*."
Alex Weaver says "Do you have some weak acid?"
Alex Weaver says "Vinegar perhaps?"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] yells "I can't blink anymore!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "That is our best bet."
Lucy Russell says "I've already applied yellow compound, and *apparently* that made it worse."
Alex Weaver says "It could dissolve away the glue! Certainly better than doing nothing!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Vinegar otherwise the man will die."
Alex looks at the man dumbfounded. Had the scientist, who most definitely has access to all sorts of acids and chemicals, just told him to buy vinegar at a... store?
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] yells "Get vinegar!"
Alex Weaver says "*Do you have vinegar*?!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] yells "NO JUST!"
*** C24:i5.KING-6 just stares at the glue man.
Alex, despite knowing better, rushes outside to look for a store. As expected at such a late hour, none of them are open.
Lucy Russell says in Russian "Целесообразный венок'металлургический."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Pour the vinegar over his chest and head first."
Alex Weaver says "None of the stores are open... You can't possibly tell me the BRI has no weak acids in storage?!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says in Russian "Синяк'неразрывно схема таракан пускай познавать!"
Alex Weaver says "Good grief!"
SNUFFED OUT

It seems it is too late. The chemical failed...and now the man has gone so stiff, he is almost like a statue. Lucy and Alex still scramble desperately to find a solution to their predicament. The man had already died beneath them, their life having been snuffed out by the glue.
Lucy Russell yells "Get something stronger than yellow compound. I don't give a fuck if we burn his face, breathing is a priority!"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Nope."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: I think he's...dead. ::>"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Nothing."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "How did this happen."
*** Alex Weaver pants heavily, having ran to and fro Victory without anything to show for it.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. Dead ::>"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Dead as never."
Laurentia Berrycloth strolls into the clinic, causing Lucy and Alex to usher her out again.
Lucy Russell yells "Get out!"
Alex Weaver says "If I knew I'd tell you! This person suddenly appeared in the warehouse."
Lucy Russell yells "Out!"
Alex Weaver says "Dear, leave."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "OUT."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "MOVE."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] yells in Russian "Обедня."
Lucy Russell says "Mhm."
*** C24:i5.KING-6 let out a sigh.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Dump that chemical if you have it, on his face. I want my stunstick back. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "He suddenly appeared in the warehouse and fell into a tub of glue that I had no idea the CWU had in storage!"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Damn. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Dear, you can't be in here..."
[Her face has droped on her right side...] says (to you) "Wokwow!"
Alex Weaver says "Yes, it's Weaver... Please, do leave."
Laurentia slowly leaves... it's for her own sake.
*** C24:i5.KING-6 dropped his last remaining glove on the man's face, using it as a cover for his boot to be place on. He'd grab the stunstick with both hands as he attempted to pull out the stunstick
** C24:i5.KING-6 has rolled a Strength d20, they rolled 4 out of 20. Adding +5 from their attribute roll, and +2 from their attribute boost, the total is 11.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Let...go...bastard! ::>"
The CP cannot manage. Like the many before King Arthur...He cannot pull the 'sword from the stone'.
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Advice of a professional BRI."
Lucy Russell says "Right... I need this body out of my clinic, before it hardens to the fucking floor."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Don't get people covered in glue."
*** Alex Weaver sounds distressed. "There's... nothing we could have done, right?"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah, get it out of here. Stunstick's a lost cause. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "His fate was set in stone the moment he fell into the glue... No?"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Red compound could have worked."
*** Alex Weaver turns to the scientist on his left, lashing out. "Well, why didn't you give it to him then?!"
Alex Weaver says "Nothing we could have done would have saved him..."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "I don't have any."
Alex Weaver says "As far as I'm concerned you only stood beside him, doing nothing... *you could have at least suggested it to us!*."
Lucy Russell says "The quarantine shower *alone* should have gotten the glue off of him."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "The problem is."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Red is stronger than yellow, as far as I know."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Yellow *made it worse*."
Alex Weaver says "I do not care."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "The shower didn't work."
Alex Weaver says "We should have tried *everything* in our power..."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "And the production of the red compound would have taken too long."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "He would have sufficated in the process."
Alex Weaver says "Hmpgh..."
Lucy now confronts the BRI scientist.
Lucy Russell says "You realise red is like, more of a cleansing agent?"
Lucy Russell says "Internal, not external."
Lucy Russell says "There's a reason we use yellow for equipment cleansing."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Maybe could have cleared his breathing paths."
Lucy Russell says "You'd fucking kill him if you put that down his throat."
*** Alex Weaver simply stares at the corpse, no facial expression is visible but his emotional state is readily apparent by his intonation and what he is saying.
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "We don't have a list for anything. We don't keep track of shit or know what shit does."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "I hate my Director."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Unable to do jackshit."
Lucy Russell says "So, let me get this straight. You don't know the difference between sanctioned and unsanctioned in terms of experiments, and now you don't know jack shit about the chemicals we use?"
Lucy Russell says "The fuck do you research? Ass wiping?"
It seems that when the yellow compound was used, he was already too far gone. The glue had solidified too far already.
Alex Weaver says "What *do* you know, scientist?"
*** C24:i5.KING-6 gave a few comical kicks to the man's exterior glue cucoon.
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "There wasn't even training. All is self-training basically. And no I never used sanctioned or unsacntioned in terms. And I never dealt with red or yellow compound, because I haven't gotten to it and there is no list for us that provides the BRI. Because the entire BRI is a fucking mess. The DIrector is unable to properly train us neither nor being able to provide us with sharts of chemical we use and despite that. I."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Despite that I use some chemicals and it worked. Don't ask me how I got here."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "It worked *all the times*."
Lucy Russell says "Holy. Fucking. Shit."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "You see now the fucking problem of the BRI?"
As the cop kicks the dead man, a piece of his shoulder quite literally chips off.
Lucy Russell says "Yeah, I do."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Jesus, shit came off. ::>"
Lucy Russell says "Could you *not* tear of pieces of a dead body in my clinic?"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "I am shaming myself that I don't know much off it - I never studied anything in scientist. I was trying to become a diplomat."
Alex Weaver says "What is your name?"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says (to you) "Andrej."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Technically I didn't *tear* it off. Just gave it a little shrug and it came off. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Go on."
Lucy Russell says "Christ..."
Andrej Iljin says (to you) "Go on?"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Anyways ya'll should've disposed of this body five minutes ago. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Andrej who?"
Andrej Iljin says (to you) "Iljin."
Alex Weaver says "Mhm."
Andrej Iljin says (to you) "Why?"
Lucy Russell whispers "I'll handle it."
Andrej Iljin says "Feeling making myself here the fool, but don't blame me."
*** C24:i5.KING-6 let out a vo-coded sigh, knowing he'd have to spend credits on a new stunstick.
Apparentely, that was all that was going through his mind.
THE BODYBAG
Andrej Iljin says "Okay, now the *next* question is."
Andrej Iljin says "How do we get rid of the body."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Pretty sure you can grab it. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says "Without having glue on us neither having the body destruct it."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: It's already solidified. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says (to you) "Which fucking glue was that agin."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Or put him in a body bag. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says "Too small for that now."
Lucy Russell says "What a mess..."
Alex Weaver says "Truly."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Make sure you cut off the stunstick and dispose of it. Can't have that lying around somewhere. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "We could incinerate him... Her... Whoever this person was."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. ::>"
Alex Weaver says "Although I'm not sure that this wouldn't produce toxic fumes..."
Lucy Russell says "Acid would be better. The glue might melt and put out the flames."
Lucy Russell says "That, and toxic fumes, yes."
Alex Weaver says "Mhm, yes... Does the CMU have an acid tub on hand?"
Lucy Russell says "No, we send our bodies to you guys for disposal."
C24:i5.KING-6 says (to you) "<:: I'd say, don't be too harsh on yourselves. Guy sealed his fate the moment he was fiddling around with unknown substances at a place he clearly didn't belong in. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says "Okay."
Alex Weaver says "We *could have done something*..."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Could've, should've. Whatever. ::>"
Lucy Russell says "We tried. Some of us tried."
Alex Weaver says "Right... Bodybag, acid bath, drink until we forget."
Andrej Iljin says "Okay."
Lucy Russell says "Now, it's over. Just another body. And I hate to say that, but it is what it is, in this business."
Andrej Iljin says "We can use sulfuric acid."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says "We need a *PLASTIC TANK*."
Alex Weaver says "Yes..."
Alex Weaver says "You can leave."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Alright, it's been real. Thanks for the...assist. ::>"
The officer walks off, their stunstick still glued into the man's head.
Alex Weaver says "Ms. Russell? Where would the CMU's body bags be?"
Lucy Russell says (to you) "Right now, I don't even think its worth putting him in one. Regardless, I can get one."
Alex Weaver says "Mhm, it's the least we can do... Not show off his recently deceased corpse for all the world to see."
Alex Weaver says "Not in the state it's in, anyways..."
*** Lucy Russell picks up a bodybag, sighing.
Alex Weaver says "Right... Uh... How do we do this?"
As Lucy closes the door, the man's foot is hit. It falls off.
Lucy Russell says "Probably best to try and fold his arms in, the normal way- For fucks sake."
Alex Weaver says "I..."
*** Alex Weaver sighs
Alex Weaver says "We're going to have to break off his arms, aren't we?"
Lucy Russell says "That, or we just get a fucking dustpan, and fucking smash him in."
Alex Weaver says "I don't see how he will fit if we don't... Uhh... Make him smaller..."
Lucy Russell says "Just... Just, fucking snap his arms off, and put them in the bag."
*** Lucy Russell moves her hand up to wipe sweat off of her head, which just results in her palm gently hitting the top of her mask. She grumbles as she lowers her hand.
*** Alex Weaver audibly sighs behind his mask, placing his knees on each of the man's shoulders. He grabs hold of the arms, bending them towards him in an effort to snap them off
*** Alex Weaver mumbles under his breath. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry."

The first arm comes off! And with it, the reality of what you are doing sinks in like the glue in the fibres of this man's skin. You monster.
*** Alex Weaver snaps off the second arm in much the same way. He starts breathing heavily as he does so, sniffling as he is done.
Alex Weaver says "Right... He should... Fit his coffin now..."
*** Lucy Russell moves the bag over to the body. "Right, just, push him in. And put the arms in."
*** Alex Weaver takes the man's head, lifting it up gently as he begins to slide the bodybag onto the corpse.
*** Alex Weaver moves on to the back, lifting it up by holding it with one hand from underneath. He continues sliding the bodybag along the corpse, enveloping the once vibrant person in their plasticy tomb.
You manage to drag the man a few feet, almost to the bag. But just as you do so, his head snaps off into your hands in a horiffic manner. Half of his upper spine comes with it...
*** Alex Weaver flinches as the man breaks apart completely. He continues holding onto the pieces of the corpse, seemingly in shock. He changes his approach, now haphazardly stuffing the parts of the corpse into the bodybag, trying to make the whole affair pass as quickly as humanly possible.
*** Lucy Russell begins to gag as the head comes off, and the spine with it.
***' the man's breathing continues to get heavier and faster as the agonizing process continues
*** Lucy Russell moves down, helping Alex to bag the man up, resisting the urge to throw up.
What you are eventually left with is a lopsided bag of ice white limbs and random chips of skin. Though, you manage to bag him up.
*** Alex Weaver turns away from the body bag, retching under his mask
Alex Weaver says "This... Is... By far... The worst thing I've had to do..."
*** Alex Weaver says under heavy breaths
*** Lucy Russell turns herself away as well, leaning against the wall in front of her. "Ugh... Augh..."
Alex Weaver says "*I had to tear that person to shreds*..."
The mental image of the head ripping from the man's spine plays over in your heads. Perhaps it will stain your memories forever.
*** Lucy Russell hears that, and can't take it. A retching sound is heard, followed by Lucy slumping over, fainting.
*** Alex Weaver sniffles under his mask...
***' the hazmat walks up to the body bag, hoisting it over his shoulder, groaning as he does so.
Even through your hazmat, you can feel a leg poking into your back. A hand on your shoulder...
*** Lucy Russell remains passed out on the ground.
Alex Weaver says "I'm... I'm so sorry, Ms. Russell."
Alex Weaver says "Lucy?"
*** Alex Weaver walks up to the fainted person, shaking her gently.
*** Lucy Russell remains perfectly still, unconscious. A faint smell of vomit eminates from her hazmat.
*** Alex Weaver inhales sharply. He fumbles with the hazmat of Lucy, trying to free her from it. Certainly he's afraid she will suffocate from her own vomit.
*** Jenifer Maesroe came into the hallway, looking at the scene before her.
*** Lucy Russell doesn't help in any way, passed out as the hazmat is pulled off.
Jenifer Maesroe says "What the hell is going on!"
*** Alex Weaver sighs heavily as he turns around to the newly arrived person. "You... don't want to know, Director." he says while sniffling.
The Director would walk in to find the man looming over a passed out Lucy holding a bodybag. It doesn't look like there is a body inside. More random lumps. How suspicious
Jenifer Maesroe says "Your going to tell me everything."
Jenifer Maesroe says "What...Is going on!"
Alex Weaver says "Are you... Alright, Miss?"
Alex Weaver says "Surely... We... Uh... We should dispose of the body first. It's only right."
Does he mean Lucy or the weird lumpy bag?
Jenifer Maesroe says (to you) "Go dispose of it. I will deal with Lucy."
Jenifer Maesroe says (to you) "Come right back here once your done."
*** Alex Weaver simply nods as he hoists up the bodybag once again, carrying it over to the door
THE BURIAL
Alex Weaver, still in hazmat, now carries the bodybag on his shoulder. He limps with every step. He can be heard sniffling. He finally arrives in the warehouse's lower compartements.
*** Alex Weaver solemnly lays down the bodybag. He stands beside it for a few seconds, simply looking at it. His radio goes off, reminding him of the other agonizing thing he has to do after getting rid of this body.
[CCA-CWU] Jenifer Maesroe: "Mr Weaver, return to the clinic QUICKLY....I need to know whats going on."
*** Alex Weaver goes into the storage area, rolling out a barrel full of a highly corrosive substance. He places it down next to the bodybag, pausing for another moment. He answers the radio right after.
[CCA-CWU] Alex Weaver: "I will return, yes, once this is over with..."
Are you really about to submurge a man in acid? Imagine if this was your funeral...
*** Alex Weaver has already taken off the top of the acid barrel, he pauses for a second. He starts holding a funeral speech for the unknwown labourer...
The tomb of the unknown labourer would be the air itself.
Alex Weaver says "Whoever you were... This is no way to go. You had aspirations, dreams, family, friends."
Alex Weaver says "Snuffed out..."
Alex Weaver says "All of it..."
Alex Weaver says "I'd..."
Alex Weaver says "I'd..."
Alex Weaver says "I would..."
Alex Weaver says "I would bury you..."
Alex Weaver says "But I am neither physically... Nor... In any other way able to..."
Alex Weaver says "Do understand... I did everything in my power."
A small white butterfly lands on the shoulder of the man upon the closure of his words.
*** Alex Weaver unceremoniously hoists up the bag, setting it down on the barrel before submerging the bag... the body bag... the person in the acid.

As the body decends, a woosh of white dust comes flying out of the barrel. Along with a light corrsosive gas. Probably a result of the glue mixing with the acid.
***' the man quickly closes up the barrel, having done their terrible deed.

Alex Weaver says "Vent-ventilation sho-should take care of tha-t."
*** Alex Weaver says this to no one in particular, not even himself
The man bubbles and boils, before the water turns in the barrel, making him into a mere slush.
*** Alex Weaver sighs one more, rolling the barrel back into storage
The man would appear to be completley disintegerated. All that remains are a few teeth bubbling on the top of the acid. However, they are taken from sight, atleast, physical sight, as the lid of the barrel is sealed. Much like the fate of the man inside and the fate of Alex's mental trauma from today's events.
Alex solemnly trods over to the clinic.
THE INTERROGATION
Alex Weaver says "Director."
Jenifer Maesroe says (to you) "Follow me."
Jenifer Maesroe says (to you) "Explain everything to me, from start to finish."
The pair walk over to Lucy's unconcious body. She was laying on a hospital bed.
Alex Weaver says "How- is- she is going to be just fine, right?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "She is unconcious and I dont know why."
*** Alex Weaver sighs, before starting to talk. He starts talking on several occasions, all unsuccesful, except one...
Alex Weaver says "Well... It wasn't anyone's fault..."
Unbenknown to Alex, his suit would be emitting a foul stench. A mixture of burning chemicals, soaked in adhesieve and copper. It fills your nostrils like a poison.
Alex Weaver says "This... I don't know who..."
*** Jenifer Maesroe fans her nose a little at the eminating smell....This one, was certainly more potent than she was used to.
Jenifer Maesroe says "Stop spitting out nonsense to me and get to what happened!"
Alex Weaver says "This person... I have but a single clue who they were or how they entered the warehouse... They fell into a container of glue I had never seen before in my life!"
Alex Weaver says "I... Was frightened to say the least... An unknown man, covered in an at first unknown substance stumbled in my direction..."
Alex Weaver says "There was an officer in the warehouse... He and I, we held the man back... I contacted Miss Russell over the radio, saying we needed urgent medical attention at the warehouse..."
Alex Weaver says "It turned out the man had covered themselves entirely in glue!"
Alex Weaver says "So we... The protector, Miss Russell and I, ferried him to the CMU quarantine showers, trying to wash off the glue..."
Alex Weaver says "And oh my... It didn't help!"
Alex Weaver says "We... We didn't have much time, the glue was sealing up his airways..."
The smell grows in the air like a plague. The odore truley is the embodyment of death, rising like fumes from the lowest depths of hell.
Alex Weaver says "There was this... God forsaken researcher... He didn't help either... Yellow compound didn't help either... Nothing we died could save him...."
*** Jenifer Maesroe had become accustomed to this smell by now, given her plethora of experiences in life. She was no longer fased by it.....Odd!
Jenifer Maesroe says "Any idea's on the type of glue it was? It was in YOUR warehouse after all."
Alex Weaver says "No! I have never seen that type of glue before!"
*** Alex Weaver sounds sincere as well as distressed
Jenifer Maesroe says "Why did no one try to page a doctor or myself?"
Alex Weaver says "Oh we did page! I screamed into the radio, Miss Russell was the only one to answer!"
Alex Weaver says "And well... This next part... This is where Miss Russell and I... I don't want to talk about it..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Tell me."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Why is she now unconcious!"
*** Jenifer Maesroe was beginning to get frustrated.
Alex Weaver says "Well... The position in which he died... Made it impossible.... To put him into a bodybag... We... Tried bending him, but the glue meant that... That... That... His bones... They snapped! We... *I tore this man to shreds!*."
*** Alex Weaver breaks down, crying behind his mask. "I had to rip this man up, to give him the humanity of being covered in his death..."
Alex Weaver says "Of being... In the bodybag, making it unable for the world to see the horrible way in which he died..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "This doesnt answer my question."
*** Alex Weaver covers his mask with his gloved hands, sniffling loudly
Alex Weaver says "She... Couldn't take it anymore, I sup-suppose... She b-broke do-wn."
Alex Weaver says "Wh-when I h-had to te-ear that man's he-head off... *half his spine came with it!*... Miss Ru-Russell fainted, vomiting into her suit."
*** Jenifer Maesroe comes to the realisation on why Lucy was now unconcious. She swayed a little, having been mentally knocked back by the explaination. She composed herself, before responding
Jenifer Maesroe says "Right...yes I can, certainly see why you...Might be....Upset. Take off that suit and err...Sit in the psychiatry room."
Alex Weaver says "We did... We did everything we could..."
Alex Weaver says "Director, he still died!"
Alex Weaver says "His fate was... Set in stone... Right?"
Alex Weaver says "He... I..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Calm down....For a moment. Remove that suit and sit in the room to your right for me. I'll be with you in just a moment."
FORGETTING
Alex does as he is told, he has no mental resistance to anything having been forced to relive this traumatic event.
***' the unzipping of a suit, the folding of a plasticy fabric and the sniffling of a mentally broken man can be heard from the neighbouring room
*** Jenifer Maesroe looks over lucy for a moment, placing her right hand over her forehead and gently storking her head back, accross her hair. She speaks softly, saying "Im sorry Lucy, for what you witnessed. Believe me when I say, I have seen things like that was well. Its certainly not easy." She lifts her hand and moves away from the bed, knowing that Lucy will, eventualy, wake up and need the same counceling.
*** Lucy Russell remains unconscious, letting the horrors of the night drift away.
*** Jenifer Maesroe sits herself onto the sofa, looking at Mr Weaver for a moment.
Alex Weaver says "Did you hear everything you need?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "Indeed."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Would appear, that Lucy fell into a state of shock, unsurprisingly."
*** Alex Weaver grumbles something in response
*** Jenifer Maesroe heard what?
***' It sounded like "Sure appears to be that way."
*** Jenifer Maesroe nodded gently, not replying to the grumble.
Jenifer Maesroe says "Tell me how your feeling, Mr Weaver."
Alex Weaver says "I feel like..."
*** Jenifer Maesroe removes her hat, placing it to her left hand side
Alex Weaver says "I-."
Alex Weaver says "I should have done something..."
Alex Weaver says "*Could* have done *something*..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "What do you think, you could have done?"
Alex Weaver says "Saved a life today... Had I acted quickly enough..."
Alex Weaver says "Had I... Not held him up... Wanting to know why... He... Was in the warehouse..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "What do you mean?"
Alex Weaver says "Had I... Had we ferried him into the CMU *directly* after the fall..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Did you see him fall?"
Alex Weaver says "Yes... We didn't know *what* he was covered in... We... Wanted to keep him where he fell... To not contaminate anything..."
Alex Weaver says "But it was *glue* he was covered in... How could I have been so stupid..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "You weren't to know. No one blames you for not knowing."
Alex Weaver says "*I do*."
Jenifer Maesroe says "I dont."
*** Alex Weaver turns to look at her for a few seconds, before once more focusing his gaze onto the tiled floor
Alex Weaver says "A young man didn't have to die today... And if it was anyone's fault, it was mine..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "I dont believe that to have been the case. They were already covered in the stuff. Any inhalation, would have happened before your arrival and started setting, before you even knew about it."
Alex Weaver says "That is not true... And you know it, Director."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Why isn't it true?"
Alex Weaver says "Had we found... Something... That could dissolve this glue... He'd be strolling out of this clinic right about now..."
Alex Weaver says "I... I *did* suggest a weak acid..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Dont blame yourself for not being able to tac-."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Acid might have caused more damage."
Alex Weaver says "To no avail... It is common knowledge that... That flour mixed with vinegar has adhesive qualities... And well... Things that are alike dissolve in one another... Vinegar would have saved that man's life."
Alex Weaver says "More damage than being *dead*?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "You did-."
*** Jenifer Maesroe speaks softly, saying "Listen to me, for a moment...."
Jenifer Maesroe says "You did everything you could, with all that you knew at the time. Adrenalin sets in and unfortunatly, can cause the brain to go into overdrive. In thse moments, time flys past quicker than usual, or feels like it does. Your not to be blamed, for making the efforts and trying to save their life. I have been there myself, many times, having lost patients on my operating beds. It sucks, but not everyone can be saved."
Alex Weaver says "There's this saying... Among medical professionals..."
Alex Weaver says "One out of five... One out of five..."
Alex Weaver says "If only one out of five patients die, a doctor is doing a good job."
Jenifer Maesroe says "To a point, yes."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Preferably none at all, if it can be helped."
Alex Weaver says "My quota is five out of five... Isn't it?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "Why?"
Alex Weaver says "One man I could have saved... One man I didn't save."
Jenifer Maesroe says "How is that a five out of five, then?"
*** Jenifer Maesroe tilts her head with curiosity and mild concern.
Alex Weaver says "One hundred percent..."
Alex Weaver says "Director... I really just need a bottle of hard liqueur in my hand... to forget all of this."
Alex Weaver says "I... I do appreciate you talking to me..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Want some company? Been a while since I had a drink."
*** Jenifer Maesroe smiles gently at the man, trying to give them some comfort
Alex Weaver says "If you don't mind me getting drunk..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Of course not. You do as you see fit."
Alex Weaver says "I... I don't drink... Haven't in about... Twelve years... You don't... Have any liqueur on you, right?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "I have a bottle in my cabinet. Want me to get one?"
Alex Weaver says "I'd be happy to reimburse you..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "No need."
*** Jenifer Maesroe gets to her feet and leaves the room briefly
*** Jenifer Maesroe places down two glasses, taking the bottle of wiskey she has and pouring out a double shot into each glass. She leaves the bottle on the table and takes a glass, handing it to Mr Weaver whilst retaining the second in her left hand
*** Alex Weaver briefly looks up, taking the glass. He takes a first big gulp, sighing after having done so.
Alex Weaver says "Thank you, dearly."
Jenifer Maesroe says "You're welcome."
*** Jenifer Maesroe starts to sip the wiskey and...Pulls a really funny looking face, coughing slightly. She clearly wasnt a wiskey drinker.
Jenifer Maesroe says "Ugh God!"
Jenifer Maesroe says "How do people drink this on the regular!"
*** Jenifer Maesroe chuckles gently
Alex Weaver says "Mhm."
*** Alex Weaver continues staring at the tiled floor
*** Jenifer Maesroe continues to drink from the glass, slowly and in little sips.
***' There appears to be an underlying tension in the room, as the two didnt speak to one another.
*** Alex Weaver takes a second, big gulp from his glass, finishing it in its entirety. He stands up and without saying a word, pours himself a second glass.
*** Jenifer Maesroe looks up at Mr Weaver as they pour themself a second glass
*** Alex Weaver sits back, idly taking another big swig from the glass.
Alex Weaver says "Things like these happen, huh?"
Jenifer Maesroe says "Unfortunatly they do."
Alex Weaver says "I could never be in the C-M-U..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "It was a lot tougher in city two."
Jenifer Maesroe says "The things I have seen, a lot worse than what you witnessed today."
Jenifer Maesroe says "You could go as far as saying, that I have become a little more heartless to these things."
*** Alex Weaver turns to look at her again. "Mhm... I can hardly imagine something more terrible than having to tear someone apart whose death was caused by one's own inaction... then again... I don't think I want to imagine what you've been through."
*** Jenifer Maesroe smiled gently, looking to the wiskey bottle on the tabel, reminiscing in the things she has been a witness to.
Jenifer Maesroe says "Forgive the smile, its more of a self defence thing, if that makes sense. I could tell you stories, but they would make your skin crawl."
Alex Weaver says "I would appreciate having only one nightmare-fueling story living in my head."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Indeed."
ON THE BORDER - ALMOST
The alcohol made Alex's tongue looser, he actually spoke his mind about topics... perhaps that's why he doesn't drink.
*** Alex Weaver finishes his second glass in another big gulps. He sets it down onto the table.
Alex Weaver says "It's... I mean compared to..."
*** Jenifer Maesroe downs the rest of the wiskey and moves to the table, pouring out a second double, the returning to her seat once more
Alex Weaver says "This world..."
Alex Weaver says "It used to be different."
*** Alex Weaver simply stands up again, taking his empty glass and filling it up again with whiskey.
Jenifer Maesroe says "Thats very true, but accidents in the work place have forever been prevelant."
Alex Weaver says "Has a city two forever been prevelant?"
*** Alex Weaver takes another big swig from his glass after having said this statement.
Jenifer Maesroe says "It was formerly known as London."
Jenifer Maesroe says "And now, its under siege."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Hence why I am here."
Alex Weaver says "*Under siege*? Do go on."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Zombie infestations surround the city borders, rebel groups are rampant and fighting in the name of "Her majesty!" The hospital I was working at, delapidated and at the time of my departure, struggling to get supplies. It became a hell hole, in the last three years. Everday, I woke up in the hospital, as I had no where else to sleep, fearing that at any moment, I coould have someone walk to me and try to kill me."
Alex Weaver says "Sounds gruesome..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "It was."
Alex Weaver says "Just like anywhere else on this godforsaken planet, eh?"
He quickly follows up, noticing what he had just said. "Zombie infestation, huh? They are horrible... There was one today."
Alex Weaver says "Directly under Victory..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Good lord!"
Jenifer Maesroe says "They are becoming more prevelant these days."
Alex Weaver says "God... How have we left our once beautiful blue marble to you youngsters..."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Its not your fault."
Jenifer Maesroe says "Not anyone's fault."
***' almost as if in response to his statement, Alex takes one last swig of his whiskey.
Alex Weaver says "Hm... You and I... We're different in that regard..."
Alex Weaver says "I can always find someone at fault you see..."
*** Alex Weaver starts slurring his words, he is clearly very drunk
Jenifer Maesroe says "I suppose so."
The pair continue getting drunk, ending in them stumbling out of the clinic at a late hour. This event will surely haunt Alex for as long as he lives.

C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: What the-? ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Stand back! ::>"
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Stand back!?
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Sit tight...here. ::>"
Each step the 'white' man takes, is met with a sticky squelch.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Hmph. ::>"
Lucy Russell says "Christ. I don't even want to touch him, at this point."
The officer's stunstick gets stuck to the man's head!
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Shit! ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: I can't...get it off! ::>"
Lucy Russell says "Hold the stunstick, and drag him."
*** C24:i5.KING-6 struggles with his stunstick, attempting to get it off the man's head.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Lemme just... ::>"
[LOOC] C24:i5.KING-6: Can I strength roll for it?
Alex Weaver says "Wh- Ms. Russell, there must be some sort of chemical that makes glue liquid again, right?"
Lucy Russell speaks into his radio: "Code blue."
Lucy Russell says "Indeed. He needs to be taken to the quarantine shower to get that washed off."
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Well congradulations! You've turned me into a fucking popcicle!"
*** C24:i5.KING-6 began dragging the man as his stunstick's still attached to his head.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Let's...go. ::>"
The officer's hands get stuck to the man as he goes to pick him up
[A creature far beyond the recent fabr...] says "Oh no."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Seems like it's making worse. ::>"

C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: I think he's...dead. ::>"
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "Nothing."
[In front of you is a man standing at ...] says "How did this happen."
*** Alex Weaver pants heavily, having ran to and fro Victory without anything to show for it.
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. Dead ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Damn. ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Let...go...bastard! ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: It's already solidified. ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Could've, should've. Whatever. ::>"
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Yeah. ::>"
Andrej Iljin says "We need a *PLASTIC TANK*."
Alex Weaver says "Yes..."
Alex Weaver says "You can leave."
C24:i5.KING-6 says "<:: Alright, it's been real. Thanks for the...assist. ::>"
