So now that we got the Alien Grunts established and they are hitting the RP playfield, I'd like to see them get a bit of tweaking to make the more functional and able. Right now, Grunts are pretty much just a Vortigaunt with a different model. As you can probably imagine, this has lead to an abundance of issues. Grunts accidently saying Vort VCs, animation freak outs, etc. This suggestion seeks to have an official grunt system in place to fix some of these things.

The first of which would be the model. Right now the Grunts use what is often referred to as the 'Lego Man' model. It's the Half Life 1 model which stands out heavily because of its contradiction in quality to the other more modern models that Willard uses. I'd suggest using the Black Mesa models as they not only have bodygroups but nice animations just the same.

In addition to the models, it would be nice to have a functioning Hive Hand weapon, as it is one of the staples of the faction. Right now they have no weapons to use besides melee scripts which they don't even have animations for. This can also be found in a multitude of workshop listings as the Black Mesa variant. I didn't include specifics links because if this does get approved I want the developers to chose the right listings that work for them and make their job easier.

The faction itself should start with access to the Vort Language and the Alien Language so staff also don't have to keep setting it. 230 HP also seems reasonable (That's only 30 HP more than the Vortigaunts so I think that's reasonable and fair).

I think that's enough to get us started. nothing too crazy. All stuff that just takes time is all. <3

Honestly I support them getting 300 HP. They don't have easy access to armor repairs, but if they do they get 400 HP, which seems pretty fair considering the fact they're twice the size of literally anyone else. If not 300, 250. They should be strong and tanky considering their lore, stature, and limited availability.

(Though if the hive-hand ends up strong it would be fine to keep them not too tanky.)

Finally, this might lead to more black mesa models in the near future.
Great suggestion!

I can look into getting the models in
Faction is easy enough for this one as I don't have to do the same stuff I did for other factions due to limited use of the Cities terminals and rations/CIDs

Then I can do the voices

I have to say that the weapons are on hold for the time being due to the recent TFA disaster, which has caused a lot of TFA packs to disappear without re-upload. Some creators left after the TFA owner nuked his content
