It all started in Volgograd. For those who don't know in Stalingrad. March 23, 1980 marked my birth. I grew up and lived in Volgograd. It was pretty cold here. I had a.. family. My brother Alexander Ilyin, my father Viktor Ilyin and my mother Lara Ilyin. All part of middle-upper class society. I never had any worries, I mostly played in the garden with my brother Alexander and swam in the Volga. Although it was mostly cold winters, it was average for us. I went to kindergarten like everyone else and I also really enjoyed listening to the teacher and listening to the stories, which he did in his freedom. That's why I paid attention to details and I still do today. I have to say personally that I am a person who pays attention to details. Everything else that happened in the kindergarten was fine. Primary school wasn't particularly different, but I was quite open with my opinions and often fought for them. There were often problems with other students because of that, but that doesn't matter. I then went to secondary school. I skipped fourth grade and went straight to fifth grade from third grade. It was now a new beginning. I asserted myself well, I was class representative and represented my opinions and those of my classmates. That's why I had a lot of friends, was more of an... extrovert at the time and was able to make friends with people very quickly.Well after school where I got interested in social science and manipulating people, how to persuade people well. I wanted to go towards diplomacy. That was in 2000. That was when I turned 20. But since I spoke Russian and English, I had to learn French, which was the minimum requirement for a diplomat. Most of the time I wanted to learn diplomacy because it's quite convincing. Not even a year later was Black Mesa. This American facility that caused the Earth to be attacked by "Xenians" and "Vortigaunts" and bitter battles have already ensued to combat these creatures. I went home quickly when this happened and came home to see my father crush a headcrab with his bare hand. To say it, he works a long time on a construction site and therefore has huge hands and strength. The sight wasn't pretty, but it was more like the headcrab dying than my father becoming a zombie. At least, since I had dropped out of diplomatic training to deal with this situation. I stayed at home for the time being until the state of emergency was resolved. Well, to be honest, it stayed for a long time. 3 weeks approximately? Until the mayor allowed the city to operate again. I then went to an embassy and looked around there. I asked "What's the situation" something like that. Then an ambassador told me, "The Black Mesa facility in the US, New Mexico research facility has collapsed and a portal opened. "How?!" I asked. I received no conditional answer to that. No one knew, no one asked why. Most of us just wanted to survive. Forward to 2004. The Seven Hour War. It was really cruel. The day started with a thundering and raging thunderstorm that poured out of the portal again. Then only there was a loud explosion and a bright light, that was blinding. I was at the time in the garden and looked up at the sky and saw the gunships coming out of the porta
l and the Russian Air Force coming in 5 minutes later. General conscription was called up but I didn't had any of it.I kept my distance but my brother Alexander joined the Draft and fought for a "Victory" but.. They fought and died for nothing. I met some friends as I burst out of the garden and onto the street. We joined together and lead to a private bunker that one of them had. The streets were crowded and dangerous. All the synths, chaos and fighting was on the street. The city and Russia fell into anarchy during the fighting, since the Combine were everywhere you didn't know exactly where you had territory and where you lost. It took about 2 hours from the Highway to the private bunker. When we got to the bunker it was very crowded. People knew about that bunker and we had to squeeze in. I even had to throw one guy out because this bunker was meant for my friends and myself, because it was private property. We finally closed the bunker and then it was quiet. I can't say whether it was the density of the bunker or the fleeing citizens to look for another shelter. We talked solidly for 2 hours and watched the news to update on the events of the war.
We first looked at the Russian news. He used to say that extraterrestrials are attacking Russia, that what we know and that the crisis will soon be resolved. Because I wasn't sleeping at the time and was tired. I told others I would go to sleep and wake up if something important happened. So I lay down and fell asleep after 10 minutes. I still know exactly what I dreamed. I dreamed that the earth would capitulate and people would subdue and some of us would join them and some would rebel. Then suddenly I wake up. Awakened by one of my friends. They tell me the earth has surrendered. The war is over, the "Combine" have conquered us. Exactly as I dreamed. I didn't say anything so I could take in what was happening. Then a man jumped up. He looked older, had a white beard and white hair and wore a brow suit. It was the director of Black Mesa "Wallance Breen". A Russian interpreter translated the message from the man in brown. He described the surrender of the earth with conditions and mercy wishes. Since he met with a leader of them and discussed the surrender. Citizens were offered to join or be destroyed. I decided to join them, not as Diplomat, but as worker
Since the cities and everything similar were united after the takeover into collective cities and were named by numbers like city 1, city 24, city 17 etc. On the way to the train to register my appointment. I saw a line of dead soldier on the street, I stepped out of line and looked at the soldier. It turned out to be my brother. I looked left and right and realized, there was a firing squad here. I was very depressed that I got to know that my brother had been shot dead. However, I had my parents and myself to think about and boarded the train in a bad mood, thinking about the last moments with him. Then I woke up. I didn't notice that I fell asleep, I was woken up by a Ukrainian with blue eyes. I thought nothing of it and stepped off the train and found ourselves in Istanbul. Which was now known as City 50 due to reorganization. The Combines quickly established their infrastructure and police became Civil Protection and soldiers became Conscripts. We were then taken to the town hall and spoke to the mayor there, who has now been renamed the city administrator. I got assigned there as workers, who got forced to reconstruct the city in ruin. I worked there as a worker until 2017 until the City 50 administrator told me and some others workers,
that we would be transferred to City 22 to Arvid H
augen and thanked us for the long service and was transported to City 22 with a second class ticket, where I was now expecting the Overwatch Transhuman Arm, which went out of the Conscripts and the Conscripts is now a sub-organization of Overwatch. As I stepped out of the train with many others workers, we got ordered to board a separate train to the Administration. It was a 10 minute ride and then I got out again with the others. I saw a Norwegian in a white suit and brow hair with blue eyes and he said "Hello Workers. I've a loyalist district to construct. You seem like a decent workers, I want you for to work". We, who were curious about the place, just nodded. "Perfect" he said and then led us to the construction site and chatted about the details. He told us to quickly prepare the building and construction of the district, as the district was meant for loyalist. We simply agreed and were assigned to go there. but honestly. I've been alone the whole time and somehow I also want to have my peace. After some weeks, the Administrator ordered a relocation of all workers.I was relocated to the next train and given a normal relocation coupon. I was first taken to Industrial 24. For a stop and then on to City 24. I got off the train and then I then headed towards the ration terminal and grabbed my ration.. It tasted different, so different from the loyalist rations and told myself "soon" I would taste these again and bought myself an apartment and went to it. I unlocked the door, stepped in and locked it. I sat down and drank from my just opened can of Breen water and now I wait. And the rest is history.

<:: Current Events ::>But now everything is future. When I got off the train and took my ration. I then went to fellow citizens and asked around and one said "The Legislature and Ministry of Enlightenment" exists. That's when a Tier 6 Loyalist "Goodfella" spoke to me about it. He was pleased that I was considering something like this. So I bought some paper and a pen and started writing. I remember first writing a letter to the Ministry of Enlightenment and then sending a laborious text to the Legislature. I waited 2 weeks. During this time I also tought employment with DoB and BRI and got my answer for the MoE and L.A: Declined. As appropriate and the secretary found not responding to be an acceptable option. Well.. I don't know much about it, but I despise you for that. She was just being arrogant about it. Then I wrote a letter to the BRI and spoke to their director. His name is Anton Labroade and accepted me into the BRI. Now I am here and with an inactive organization. I also tried to join the CMU and talked to Jenifer. She says that she may soon open the applications. I hope so anyway. I also have a project running where I do science and report it to Minister "Ilya Zima". I'm in the lab right now, writing this.. That said, I was in the Sewers with Tischler, 2 CPs, and 1 OTA, doing research and hoping for changes. Banks is also doing something and Vayre asked me if the BRI could do away with the anti-Union thought of medicine. I have no idea if it works. But hey it may be worth a try. I'll say it like it is. I'll be making a project proposal soon and making changes to the BRI as a suggestion.

Lysa Varye - I don't know much about you. I do know, however, that she is the head of the psychiatrist and uttered a whimper. Otherwise she is a nice girl. She does have a crush on Heartwick, but I'm getting off topic. Looks like she's completely fine.Heinrich Tischler - I just know. That he is BRI and CMU. He once helped me on an expedition into the Sewers and gave me Xenian samples of the lives of the Xens. He was a good help to me.
Jenifer Maesroe - She is the director of CMU. She has always been quite friendly and direct with me. I respect you in spirit. She does her duties as CMU Director and is very, very, very subtle with her words and actions

Reginald Brown - Minister of the Enlightenment. Not much I know about him
Ilya Zima - He gave me some of the equipment for the trip and provides me the possibility of making Projects.
Arthur Roosevelt - I met him like ages ago in the workshift. He is a very friendly person despite our huge difference in the matter of Loyalist Status, but I think. I cannot tell him what I have done or what I have become. Consequences would be inevtiable for the LF.
