Daniel Jelczuk
*Brief summary of the character:
A child of a father who used to be a businessman who lost his business to the greed of uncle along with aunt, reduced to mere mechanic…and a mother who worked to the bone as teacher - they were occasionally supported by Daniel’s grandparents as much as they could, and even despite that, they still barely made the ends meet.
When Resonance Cascade and Seven Hour War arrived, they barely survived it - however, when Combine finally proclaimed their victory, people were established in positions of power and Universal Union wanted to take Daniel into a Echelon, his father’s connections made sure Daniel avoided ending up in Echelon - or, as his dad called it, “Kiddy Camp”.
Years went by, Daniel grew up in his household without too much of an issue, taught by his mother. His mom worked as part of City 14’s CMU, where his dad was a member of CWU. Finally, as his eighteenth birthday arrived, Daniel got into CWU and was led around by his dad, who showed him how things worked in CWU. However, that fateful day…during a workshift, Rebels bursted in, forcing all workers under the wall - amongst them was Daniel’s aunt and uncle. They recognized Daniel along with his dad and took them in-front, while other Rebels threw in Daniel’s mom - as it turned out, his uncle and dad were heads of their own rebel group. Then, Daniel’s father and mother were executed on his own eyes - just as Daniel was meant to be shot next, CP’s finally arrived at the scene and opened fire at the Rebels, driving them away.
Daniel was distraught by this whole ordeal, depressed…and even considered suicide. However, he realized his aunt and uncle are still there, which woke up the feeling of pure hatred within him towards his aunt, uncle and Rebels. He joined CWU, but soon after he heard his aunt and uncle are supposedly in City 24, he resigned from CWU, said goodbyes to his friends and traveled to City 24, essentially starting once again from scratch, arriving in District 43 without a single credit on him. However, he stumbled across an individual going by the name Raven Scott, which showed him the ropes of this local City and introduced him into Slums. As revolted as Daniel felt inside, he knew he had no alternatives for now. Just simply do the bare minimum in Slums to get by and not die of starvation while ration machines are off by picking trash and selling it to smugglers for chips he traded for food and whatnot. Over time, he gained friends and also enemies - some of which have died across the way, be it on his own eyes or found as torn apart carcasses in shadiest corners of the District 43. Upon landing in Metro due to Antlion issues, Daniel finally saw it as his opportunity and despite the “truce” present between CP/Loyalist station and Rebel station, Daniel…simply ignored it, obtaining weaponry from Tyrant with use of Forge and utilizing this weaponry to ambush lone Rebels within the dark and kill them with extreme prejudice - later dissolvement of truce only gave him the reason to do so. However, as people re-surfaced, Daniel was still stuck in Metro due to catching some unwanted attention from a few rogue Civil Protection units, forcing him to travel on his own through the ravaged parts of City 24 to Industrial 24 with a train he snuck aboard that was stopped for prolonged period of time due to tracks being destroyed amidst all of chaos that occurred.
Days went by, more acts of terrorism originating from Rebels occurred, resulting for instance in death of Cathleen Lockhart or stabbing of Lucas Carusso when he was around. With each bombing, each person killed by Rebels and each weeping person, Daniel grew more and more spiteful deep down towards Rebels, finally prompting him to apply for Civil Protection - with no avail. The second time he tried to, he was kidnapped by Rebels, brought into undisclosed part of Sewers and tortured for several days before he broke free, stole back his gear, killed one of Rebels with Rebel’s own pistol and ran back to i24, only solidifying Daniel’s contempt for Rebels - so far, he joined CWU to get more backing on which he could join Civil Protection (as well as obviously get more cash.)
*Why do you want to play this character?:
I do believe that putting this character in Expedition would give me a chance to further expand his character, as well as be a break from the usual workshift RP (which got boring for me in all honesty).
Also, should I mention, part the reason for taking part in it is me gladly reaping the IC benefits for my character bestowed upon me for taking a part in this whole thing.

The event cannot be used as an excuse to exercise personal vendettas OOCly against others.
Breaking the rules or disrupting the event will result in being ejected from the series.
All rules regarding fear RP should be respected.
You will be at the heart of events that will have an impact on the lore - a serious attitude must be adopted at all times. This is not tongue-in-cheek like some of the Fates events. This is a deliberately serious series in terms of tone and content.
The GM reserves the right to eject you if he feels the rules have been breached.
