Name of the Admin you were banned by: Bodger.
How long is the ban for?: 2 Weeks.
The reason you were banned?: "Minging/Avoiding RP."
Why do you wish to be unbanned?: I have had no warnings, no admins to tell me stop. Just straight up s2ked by cops and banned for two weeks. Which I find to be quite ridiculous considering was in character. I was ignoring the cops request IC to get on the wall by talking to this other guy and pretending they weren't in the room. Though the other guy got straight up from a beating, came over and began talking to my character, to which I began talking with him. The cop didn't like this and obviously didn't want to deal with it IC, so called staff to get permission to kill us for some reason? Then I was banned.
Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?: I can provide logs and whatnot if need be, I just think two weeks is way overboard for something so small.

Logs of you, cns and Nik leading up to the ban. You had avoided RP, Joku was also there to witness this who had made a report alongside nik about you refusing to RP. I told Nik he could open fire for your refusal to RP, going off the CP guide 148; resisting arrest is amputation, and your refusal to RP in the IC setting which you tried to make it is considered 148. As you would have refused the arrest like you refused the initial interaction, I allowed him to kill you both.

So, after looking over the situation and checking some past logs, I think I pretty much have the whole picture.

For starters, I feel the CP did a poor job actually RPing this. Almost instantly resorting to staff assistance for simply being ignored - which yes - is something that can happen Icly. He did not pursue any further attempts or get physical with either assailant; which is something he would be expected to do. It was also completely uncalled for to not receive a verbal or system warning before being shot up. It also seems to me the decision was hastily made by the admin, seemingly having only arrived about a minute prior to issuing the command.

Now this being said, I do think you are guilty of showing a lack of adherence to FearRP. I get ignoring a CP. I can even get ignoring an armed CP in some cases. But paying zero mind to said gun whatsoever is simply not feasible. You should have at least thrown in some /me's regarding the CP's presence or acknowledgement of his brandished weapon - pointed directly at you. Previous logs also show your character (Johnny Smithers) being more than a little 'quirky.'

(Though again, I understand you were given no warning there was really even an issue)

Humorous characters are totally fine, mind you. However, there is a fine line between lighthearted and parody. A line Smithers (and some others) seem to fall overtop of. Keep an eye on this and your characters overall content, please.

So this situation is mostly born of miscommunication due to things simply moving insanely fast with no brakes whatsoever. Rp situation turns into partially OOC shooting in about two minutes. Fault is on all sides but...

I am deciding two weeks is simply far too excessive. (especially with launch right around the corner) Moreover, I will just have admins remove the ban completely since I dont really think you did anything worthy of that punishment. A verbal warning regarding conduct would have been satisfactory given the current circumstances. Plus, you have never really caused trouble here and I do not hold you to be the kind of person to intentionally ruin peoples fun.
