| -BACKSTORY- Born in Brazil, Ashley's upbringing was riddled with caution from her parents. One of her uncles was shot dead due to a mix-up with a local cartel, and ever since then, her mother have impressed upon her the importance of staying low and flying under the radar. This was proven true when, after filing a police report, the cartel paid a personal visit to her family home. They were all left untouched, but the message was clear. The government was corrupt. The cartel was evil. The police were useless. Relatively young still when the Combine invaded, she expected the worst, but as it turns out, the personality traits of subservience and compliancy she developed in Brazil turned to be her greatest advantage. The Combine loved smooth talkers, even moreso ones that kept their mouth shut and their hands busy. She rarely had more than a slap on the wrist, while others were beat up half to death. Hm, glory to the Union, perhaps? And so soon enough, Ashley joined the Civil Worker's Union in I24. Her story begins here. | -PERSONALITY- Bubbly and extroverted, but tries to mind her own business. Major Bosch A rook is reliable. A rook is sturdy. A rook is strong. A rook is also predictable. In my case, in a very good way. This is a rook who cares for the pawns underneath him, not unlike myself. This man will be important in my strategy, and I in his. We are not in the end-game, Bosch...Though we are winning. Wim Docht Another Knight. This one more loyal to me than the rest. Perhaps his loyalty to Jamie was transferred over, just like the jacket. I am not going to investigate. Slightly clingy – Incredibly useful. The key to winning the game lies in utilizing him efficiently. |
Theda Baroletti A useful member of the conscripted forces. She and Bosch seem to have something. Not romantic – I can tell, but more of a camaraderie that I wish I had. I am jealous of you, Theda – You have friends on your side unconditionally, cherish it before it disappears. |
