I've been looking around the forums for a while now but I have not seen a guide about the Attributes and the Skills so I'll just ask my questions here.

Q1: Can Attributes and Skills be Buffed or Debuffed?

Q2: Can you level these attributes and skills by doing certain tasks and the like. If so, are they very difficult to do and long to grind for the max?

Q3: Should I go for a generalist route - Ex; Having 20 pts in Medicine, 40 in Crafting, 20 for Combat, etc. Or Should I Min/Max certain attributes and skills to fit a certain role? Like, if I decide to go full Doctor Route while sacrificing most of my Crafting and Cooking, etc.

Yes. They can be buffed and debuffed by eating food and drinking - and lack thereof.

Yes. You can level skills, you can not level attributes. The leveling process is not grindy and very self explanatory. Running increases your speed level. Shooting and reloading guns increases your Guns level. Etc etc, they speak for themselves. Click on the skill in question for more info.

Level your skills based on the kind of person your character is, don’t minmax. There’s a maximum of 125 skill points and you’re better off getting a few skills to their max and focusing on those for your character. You can not reset skills after you have leveled them, so choose carefully.

I wrote a guide for character creation that goes pretty in depth about this (but only for rebel charactes, since that's what I play, mainly), but generally, don't stress too hard about it. Pick what's right for the character, first and foremost. Whatever you level in, you're gonna be able to add something to any team - a team who will hopefully be able to fill in the gaps of whatever you can't do.

Guide:

To sum it up: Level your skills around your character, not your character around your skills.
Yeah. Don't worry - you'd have to be actively trying to get yourself stuck in a build that's genuinely useless. At worst, you're losing out on a very small amount of effectiveness by not thinking too hard about your skills.

Nice! This will help me immensely. I have a bad habit of screwing up my skill tree in most RPG's - Making them only average at everything or worst, a really unbalanced character in a bad way. When I saw that Willard Networks has further developed the idea of actual skill bars onto the character instead of it being only an IC thing, I had to look for guides to help me steer to the right direction.

Plus, I love being a rebel.

Really helpful tips and info for a newbie like me. I'll follow your advice and focus my skills around my character instead of the opposite. Can I also 'level up' in a way and gain attribute points or are the points from the creation screen the only one's that I can get?

If I recall correctly, there's no way that you can raise your attribute points. They're set in stone after character creation. I think of them as your character's innate abilities. What your character learns beyond that comes in the form of skill points in various crafts.
From a gameplay perspective, there's some very strong boosts so I doubt you'd ever need to increase your attributes - though I understand the appeal of doing such.

Don't stress out too much about the skills and the crafting. Focus on your character and the narrative and develop those first and foremost. Everything else is secondary. Just enjoy the journey.

As a side note; should you wish to craft something, but lack the skillpoints, there's always the option to ask for an Admin or Game Master to oversee your actions - possibly granting you the greenlight.

Like I mentioned, attributes are set in stone. You can not change them after char creation. Only temporarily buff/debuff them with food or drugs.
