Finally, Wreath is reaching the frontlines in city 2. Recruited on day one with aims to climb through the closed off bureaucracy of city 24, and more importantly serve his benefactors. Born just next door to conflict, it's clear to him that no amount of human diplomacy and progress will stop war, genocide and suffering. For over five thousand years, billions of people have killed one another for any number of reasons. Once the universal union came, and unified earth by force, the only global conflict left was spearheaded by insurgent groups who wanted to return to that status quo. All Aleksander seeks is peace, and the safety of his squad.

- Leadership & Subordination: Wreath will try to maintain the morale and safety of his squad, but will follow all orders for the benefit of his battalion.
- Trained: Having gone through military training twice, he's aware that suicidal charges and stubborn defenses aren't tactically sound. He will likely hesitate if ordered to do something suicidal that won't be strategically valuable.
- Frustrated: After experiencing the underhanded tactics of guerilla warfare and facing attrition, ambushes, traps, Wreath will treat any resistance members maliciously, and refuse any ceasefires or truces engaged by the resistance members.

Kevin Campbell

Charon squad leader in the 103rd Antlion Battalion and a tier five loyalist Kevin Campbell is out to get his hands dirty, after countless of days and hours he has spent working in the Luxury Cube selling clothes, he felt like he was being a burden towards the Union. The first time he heard the announcement over the speakers that they are recruiting brave soldiers for the Arterian army, he felt a sudden joy and dropped what he was doing entirely and attended the recruitment center where he was interviewed and given instructions on how to proceed, Kevin knew the risks but he still joined up, but he knew what was right and wanted to serve the Union. The trainings he went through and the tough and unbreakable soldiers he has met in the battalion, he feels confident that he will lead his squad to victory and return to city 24 as a war hero. He didn't really have time to say goodbye to anyone that he knew, as he did not want to waste any precious time and wanted to enlist right away.

- Follow orders: As a high tier loyalist Kevin is known to follow orders and not give a second thought on questioning those given orders, he will keep his squad safe and not rush in like a complete maniac, he will also use the radio that was issued to every squad leader to the fullest extent and give good callouts.

-Discipline: He will set aside any conflicts he had with his fellow soldiers back in the camp and show them respect on the field, as there is no time to make jokes on the field.

-Great sacrifice: With great victory comes great sacrifice. The city two battle will not be a field that will not shed any allied blood, for it is bound to happen. Anything can happen on that field, which means Kevin will have prepare himself and look after his brothers to make sure they go back home in one piece.

Nominal Alexander Odintsov

"Remember your training and don't die within first thirty seconds of combat."
Odintsov was one of the three Arteriamen who first visited City 24 months ago and the citizens greeted him like a hero. He then later returned as a Nominal and a Drill Instructor of the 103rd Antlion Battalion. He believes whatever he does is important for humanity. He may be indifferent to the Combine but he is doing this for society, for the safety of everyone. He serves the humankind. He has been in the Arteria for far too long to be scared of death, because, as corny as it sounds, death is all around him. Odintsov views the deployment to City 2 as the biggest showdown of his military career, as the crucial challenge, a life and death situation, an event that shall determine whether he lives or dies, a battle that will decide the outcome of the War on Anticitizens. He knows that the situation in City 2 is gruesome, and he surely is eager to get back into some proper combat.​

Former Military
Odintsov was stationed in Moscow upon the start of his military service as a member of the Military Police. Closer to the start of the Seven Hour War he was promoted to Senior Sergeant and was in charge of a patrol group, touring the streets of the city center and having a bit of banter with his squadmates. Upon the start of the Combine takeover him and his squaddies managed to survive the onslaught by retreating into an apartment building and hunkering down until they managed to get communications up with command. Little did they know, it was too late, since the Russian government capitulated and they turned themselves in. Surprisingly, Odintsov received numerous offers to join the Civil Protection for his Old World expertise in policing, which he turned down. He was transferred into the Arteria. Now that the Militarisation Order #1 has been accepted by the Summit 24 Council, he views this as an opportunity to rise within the ranks. If he lives through the City 2 bloodbath, maybe, just maybe, he will be promoted or he will get a chance to retire.

The Voyager of Sector 10
Odintsov was one of the three Arteria servicemen who have visited a handful of European cities of Sector 10, including City 24. Having witnessed life in various Union Cities and military installations really opened up his mind. He is now certain that some things haven't changed since the Union arrival; people will always be the same.

Echoes of the Motherland
No matter what fate Russia has suffered, he still feels Russian at heart. He values any conversation and relations with his compatriots, as well as other Eastern Europeans in these trying times.

Indifferent to the Combine
Alexander never cared about being a Union zealot and he never will become one. He simply doesn't care about all that holier-than-thou Combine preacher talk. He has a job, he is getting paid, which makes him feel like he's a PMC.

Pragmatic and PTSD-struck
The man has been 'in the shit' for a long time: patrolling the boundaries of City 3, being through countless ambushes, witnessing his squaddies being torn to shreds by Antlions and Zombies alike. All these traumatic experiences made him value his own life and to remain grateful for his rational and pragmatic thinking. Seems like he's the last person to support the concept of 'Human Wave Attacks'. Ironic.

Military Scholar
Odintsov finished his Bachelors course in International Relations in the Moscow State University before he was taken in by the Russian military. This makes him somewhat smarter than the average Jarhead of the Arteria. The man is well versed in politics and languages, which means he speaks English and German flawlessly. His education and his current job can be viewed as ironic, since he is not part of the City 3 Administration and instead he is doing the Union's bidding for a living.

The Hero of the Union
After Odintsov visited City 24, he is now more proud than ever to be a member of the Arteria. All those inquisitive citizens looking up to him, viewing him as the Protector of the Union from all the Evils of the New and Old World alike, and the officers either respecting or admiring him for all the hardships he has faced. He is confident that whatever he does is of great benefit to the ordinary citizens and the Civil Protection members.

When you're on a tour "typically" 6-5 months you get leave for a period of time. This happened in vietnam/afghanistan/iraq.

A daughter of the old world, Yisugei grew up in a Mongolia clutched the shadow of the Cold War. Man pitted against Man when they could be working to explore the cosmos. The HMMLR Lt Colonel
Former British Officer. Head of Operations at this Sub-Nexus. Has access to a Combine broadcasting system for this district and will spend most of the event in his office spamming propaganda. Will be played by Merlinsclaw unless he cannot attend and if that occurs then I may open up applications for this character.

The HMMLR Major
Former British Officer. The Colonel's field adjutant. He is a vital communications link between the troops and the Colonel. If you manage to murder him then you will severly reduce the amount of infomation that the Colonel is getting.

The HMMLR Elites (4)
Former SAS Operatives. These soldiers are of a far higher quality then the general troops on the frontline. Hopefully they will be used wisely during this battle.

Minor Characters (cannot be PKed):

The HMMLR Soldiers (5 at the start)
These generic soldiers exist to serve as cannon fodder for the HMMLR. They are generally under-equipped and given weak weapons. They are non-characters and are open without the need for a name or a backstory unlike the roles above. You are free to sign up for these unless you hold any role above or are partipating in this event as a Conscript.

If you are PKed as either one of the Conscripts or the major HMMLR characters you will be able to play a HMMLR Soldier.

A young naive man motivated through propaganda. Fired up and ready to serve, he was one of the very first in line the day the offices opened! Given the distinct honor of speaking with Vice-Administrator O’Connor!

He leaves behind the ‘glory’ that awaits him back home. Along with the very man, he is dead set on confronting for his cowardice… Revenge clouds his mind, in anticipation to confront his former brother-at-arms.

Beauregard has suppressed his thoughts regarding his death. Not thinking twice about it. With only the training given to him along with advice from his brother-in-arms, Anticitizen One.. Andre Jackson. He ships off into the city, unprepared for the cold reality of war.

He fights for the thought of glory. He serves a purpose in life. He fights for a meaning to his name.

• - Inexperienced / Cowardice: I plan on interpreting and interacting as an individual who wasn’t prepared for the complicated scenario which is war. The majority of the time he’ll often find himself remaining in cover, lifting his gun up every few minutes to blindly fire towards enemy lines. Though, during the entirety of the battle. It is likely that he’ll combat the Rebels in one way or another.

• - Assistance: In the event that any other soldier he’s met before during the battle. If an opportunity is given, he’ll make an attempt to drag the soldier to some form of cover or to safety. However, by all means in the event, the body is within an area that he CANNOT retrieve without being shot at. He won’t take the chance.
• --- If cover-firing tactics are used, he’ll lean out of his comfort zone. An attempt to take a more active role within the fighting. Providing covering-fire / advancing.

Soldiers will only need to fill in the OOC infomation as they are going to be treated like meat by the Lt. Colonel and given very little in the way of arms or armor (compared to the Elites or the Conscripts which will be given good equipment). The only restriction is that there will be a cooldown between deaths.
