Name of the Admin you were banned by: Fedora
How long is the ban for?: One month for all
The reason you were banned?: Metagame
Why do you wish to be unbanned?: Misinformation(?), generally not worthy a month ban for it

Skewered only followed us down there, theres nothing else to it, he did not partake in this apparent metagame and just watched so he is cut.

I found a key for the door that leads to the attic, to the other two doors, i send a DM to fedora saying i found a key, i keep straight line contact with him throughough everything i do, im not told specifically not to do anything, and in this time i tell Andre through ic means about my re-discovery, which he hypes, everything is going fine with no complaint.
Staff get on and event it all, and as it turns out through redhots word the blast door was supposed to be there, which was missing due to ooc reasons, and it is all voided. This is where im told i can keep knowledge past the shutter, which i take as i can know of the 'not-hidden further, post bs blast door there.'

I go and tell the two other banned of it and Andre goes there with hypes up, and starts figuring things out. I take it he can and does know of these things but did not have access, yada yada. We ponder and ICly plan our next step only to be told to screw off after a calm-downey amount of time where we think theres no problem, and we try and argue to it without response, and a minute later are all banned for metagame.

Is what we did really worth a month ban or even a ban, especially with the 'pro rebel save rebelrp campaign' going on the server, especially when we did not really do anything that'd harm anyone? We know the bunker was owned by staff and off limit temporarily(?), and not by a just-got-the-place rebel faction. All this came out of the blue to all involved. And if the ban is more dense than that because my dms during the thing, you're just looking to keep me banned, it was all about the OOC situation of the scene after i informed him (imperialist) IC.

To clarify: just bad information, optimistic thinking and sherlock thought process, no 'haha funny dor lets break in /me breaks in', we were really gonna rp it all.
"sherlock thought process" is for past the shutter, i thought since i know past the shutter i also know of the blast door which is not further hidden, but i guess not for some weird unknown dodgy meta rules morphing with logic fuck-all reasons, meant as lightly and humoristically as much as seriously. Andre thought the same, and so i got more optimistic.

Here is my perspective.

I know for a fact that Skewed and UFF in general were told to stay away from Bunker weeks ago when they tried to barrel bomb their way into the bunker as they lost all IC knowledge of the bunker.

So thats strike one.

Now we fast forward to this week and its happening again, only this time with you having a Rusty key and somehow having knowledge of where it goes. This isn't the real problem, though, the problem is you also bypassed the second bunker door and then coincidentally stumble upon the gas valve being what you need to move in order to get access to the keypad.

This culminated into us checking into you and seeing the character that has the key shouldn't even have the faintest clue about the Bunker, and the fact that you as a player also were outside of the bunker sniffing around when it was being taken over by another group despite not having IC knowledge ( @RedHotGinger can confirm this).

You can't let go of the bunker so you use shady methods to try to get your hands on it, which is why I asked the admins involved to first warn then ban you all for metagame, especially when you already have several warnings for metagame yourself.

As for Skewered, he was warned of metagame, and we have suspicions of him being a Blurrey alt account, due to the way he acts. He does not speak in OOC, ignores warnings by administration not to metagame, and constantly grinds items and not much else. We will be thoroughly looking through logs to try to confirm some of this, but the ban was preliminary because of his actions leading to this point.

Sneeding was also using PM's to metagame with you, so he was banned as well.

We'll be getting a full log list soon besides what we have now, but its not looking too good from what I saw myself. I cannot comment on what happened on server as I was not on the server during this rule breaking and the subsequent banning.

Whatever UFF did before, dont know about any of it, all i know is i thought andre could know better and what i was told which i repeat was just 'you can know past the shutter' and behind the shutter is a giant blast door that is not hidden further. we were just waiting for staff to tell us that no, but then we get banned? I was constantly DMing staff and making sure of shit.

Just an update, Skewered Antlion Meat has had their ban increased from a month to permanent due to being an Alt Account of an already banned user after an investigation by Me.

Here is Andre rolling for the code; even IF this was a legitimate roll, supervised by an administrator, it would fail because you need to roll 18 out of 20 to simulate the old 80 out of 100 rule we had. He failed and then decided to do some trolling:



This was done for more than this log screen; at least like 20 times generic roll spam. Its clear you guys weren't taking this base raid seriously and were casually metagaming the entire thing. Id dare to say you guys were in VC with each other, giggling about this, because I don't see why both of you are spamming this command 10 to 20 times.

Also the Rusty Key you were using was invalidated as the door was changed, so you wouldn't even have gotten this far. I give the benefit of the doubt here, though, as you were talking to Fedora and he was not aware of this at the time.

In conclusion: You didn't have a supervising admin for this raid, you didn't have clear IC knowledge, and parts of what you knew was metagamed (such as the valve).

Considering Joku's history and the fact that one of the people banned was an alt of a permabanned player, I am really not lenient on reducing the ban.

However the final decision comes down to @NEYO , not me, and you have a case because of the fact that @Fedora wanted to keep part of this IC but then backpedaled, even if I disagree with it since you did this with no admins on at the time.

Salv asked me to look this over again and give a judgment.

All things considered, I think the just punishment has been served (2-3) days. The confusion regarding the staff verdict at the time is also taken in consideration. In addition, I think a warning is in order for the PM's and the entire bunker ordeal.

However, I know for a fact that you already have previous warnings. So consider this ban your final warning. The next whiff of metagame - no matter how small or grand - will end up in a permanent ban.
