Why do you wish to be unbanned?:

To simply start from the beginning, My character meets someone who appears to constantly ask people to 'dance' and 'boogie', sometimes yelling it out loud. I walk up to him and ask him after our first interaction to stop alongside another man. The man continued yelling at which point I slapped him to try and get his attention. It was at that point he punched me in the face - and I pulled out a knife. My knife just barely manages to miss the man so I head towards the OSF-owned business, at which point I tarnished his reputation by telling them that was the same man who broke the windows. [The one who punched me]. After that, we all go on a hunt to look for the man. Me and another equipped resistance member walk up to him, ask him why he punched me - and I asked him further on the lie I made up on why he destroyed the windows, at which point he said he never broke the windows. I stabbed him till be bled out intending to make bandages to heal him up, till he continues saying he never did it. My character at that point thought he'd tell the others I was blatantly lying about the window, so I hit him once in the head with the knife while he was downed.


After stealing his CID, and walking up to a terminal - my character is then caught by Civil Protection as the CID was a BOL. It was at that point I was brought to the interrogation room, searched, and then suddenly brought to a sit. They ask me as to why I murdered them - and I simply tell them everything above this message. At that point they brought up random things completely irrelevant to the rule I broke, for example - I minge-ran nearly a week ago. At that point they told me I was getting a week-ban for Rule-0. I tell them that they can inform the other units responsible in my arrest I sadly won't be coming back, before also informing them I will be leaving at which point I assumed wouldn't have a problem as they knew both my steamID and my steam name to ban me. I was a little off-set seeing it was permanent when I saw the ban-message.

Hi so I banned you with neonity. We called you to a sit to determine why you killed "the boogie" man and we concluded from your statements it was death matching. You antagonized the situation by slapping him to begin with, then made up a lie, which you then used to kill the character. The character themselves had done nothing to deserve a death. All they did was yell about boogie and from there  you further escalated and escalated the situation for no real reason other than you were icly annoyed he punched you for slapping him? You might call this a feud but when its just your character bullying another then it's very one sided and unfair on that other player. The quality of the situation also does not reflect the "reasoning" well as the RP was lacking in overall quality and the body was instantly looted with subpar /me's. I am tempted to say this was all just an excuse to kill/loot someone oocly as unless you are as dumb as your character seems to be, which I don't believe you are, then it's very clear that it's an unrealistic escalation of a conflict without any real meaningful motive.

Death matching itself can be punished lightly if we deem it a mistake, however we took into account your lengthy ban and warn history, which, makes the punishment harsher. You might say, as you did then, that the previous warns or bans were for separate offences, that is true. But, it shows to us that you're not making an effort to understand the rules. Especially with the fact that for the entire duration of the sit you were instantly very defensive, quite rude and then decided to leave. You didn't have one ounce of respect nor regret for what you did and continued to defend it and insult our verdict. With all this combined, we came to a 3 week ban under rule 0 for your general attitude, continued rule breaking and that fact with your history it was clear you still had not made an effort to follow the rules. That is when you spout your final snarky comment and quit the server without warning. Leaving staff sits mid sit is not something we tolerate. You could have asked to leave, but you did it on your own accord and made the ban harder. This further cemented the abysmal attitude you had and frankly because of the attitude looked like an attempt to avoid punishment. So, we gave you a perm ban.

Indeed, my behaviour in the sit might've not been exactly good which I do apologise.

Then again, I didn't intend for the slap to move to self-defense so quickly, as I intended it just to 'wake him up' from yelling out boogie in the streets too loud, at which point he slapped me and it unfortunately escalated from there.

I had no intentions of killing him ICly, just rather teaching him a lesson. However - during his final moments he starting yelling that he didn't do anything, and my character thought this would've escalated to him calling me an outright liar.

I understand I shouldn't have left the sit - and yep, I am sorry for it - but even then, a permaban? I didn't try to evade the punishment in anyway whatsoever assuming you already had my steamid and what not.

I just left as I didn't want to further bring things up and I was quite annoyed at the time, didn't want to start saying things I would've regret.

I'll try to be more conformative of the rules and take into account that I should probably read over them a bit more.

I'll also try to refrain for gaining anymore possible punishments/warnings.

To begin with, anyway. I left the admin-sit as I felt it became partially clear the attending administrators within the sit clearly weren't happy with my attitude. At that very moment, I assumed they already had my SteamID, the punishment had already been told to me and to prevent myself to getting into any further trouble I left. I didn't want to piss off the administrators to the point they'd probably dish out a worse punishment.

As for the warns/bans, I can tell they are clearly unacceptable aside from one which was appealed. I'll try to keep myself from breaking any form of rule even in dire situations.

Alright. Given how you have mentioned the fact you will take a look at the rules and ensure you understand them, here is what I am going to do.

I'll be reducing the ban from a perma to two months, as I want to be lenient with you. However, upon your return to the server we will be making sure that you are following the rules and RPing in a manner befitting of our serious RP. Staff will be informed that they are to have a zero tolerance in regards to your attitude in an admin sit and will add a perma ban once again if you're found to be breaking the rules/ignoring staff when asked to do something. This will be your only chance to prove yourself, once the two months ban has lifted.

Ban reduced from a perma to two months.
