I was permanently banned for violating Community Guidelines.



Why do you wish to be unbanned?: Most of my warns have been for minor offences implemented before the new discord warn rule. I feel as if for the last one particular, I was being targeted by Ghost, as earlier that day while we were in voice chat, they were being openly aggressive and inciting conflict with me. I don't feel as if any of my actions warrant a permanent ban even by the rules standard.

I never called Neonity the n-word. I had just said the n-word in voice-chat. What I did say was, "Neonity, could you mute yourself real quick?" because someone had asked me to say the n-word.

They had instigated drama for no reason over my PK appeal and were generally showing animosity & hostility towards me. I had joined the voice chat to talk with Hansolo and some others, but ghost had started calling me a crybaby over my PK appeal and I had just ignored him and told him to stop getting mad over my appeal. Immediately prior to this recording, he stated that if he wanted to make fun of me, he would made fun of my voice.

He was generally being hostile until Candy intervened and the only time I had actually went out of my way to deliberately insult them was when I called them a twat because they had made fun of my voice.

Most of the warnings were relatively soft, like me spamming gifs in lore discussion, the nazi imagery being a DeviantArt meme. The porn tab is just that too, just me posting a "Pornhub" tab... Kinda like this:

I have no excuse for saying the n-word other than being asked to and messing around with people in voice-chat. I wholeheartedly accept that warning.

I also never once was homophobic, though I did say "Hey Fa-" and jokingly cut it off when joining the VC today. I understand if that constitutes as homophobia, but I still believe it does not change that this was targeted by Ghost. I had also never called him a dumbass in dms, which he claims in the video. I can post full logs of dms, but never once had I personally insulted or attacked ghost during dms.

Also, prior to being banned on discord, I had joined Voicechat and Ghost once more was attempting to start conflict. I have a recording of that as well. Immediately when I joined, he went, "Hey, whats up?" in a mocking tone several times, knowing he had warned me moments earlier.

He showed a very rude and hostile attitude towards me, and had expressed disdain for me in his voice and words, ever since my PK appeal, when I had not done this towards him once.

Hi.

I am the Community Manager that looked over and investigated the criteria that was being met for a permanent ban. Recently you had went up to one of my staff and put forth some racial slurs and I've had people come forth based on your behaviour which is just routinely the same or re-occurring problems. I don't hold animosity to you, though I cannot say the same for the staff as they are, at this point in time, entirely discomforted by your approach to certain things (according to the reports).

The warns that were garnered were collected over the course since May this year. If the staff are insulting you without provocation, then I'll handle them - though with the current situation at hand, please forgive me if I don't find this exactly on the premises of suddenness from them.

However, I'll watch the video with a highly unbias view. I'll make a formative judgement based on that given the circumstances including the video but as per protocol stands, I take matters such as this really seriously and everyone is held to account based on behaviours like that. If you can, contact me on Discord and we'll have a chat, real friendly and we'll get to the bottom of what these are transpiring with.

OK. I've spoken with the staff including my head of staff being Steyr that's recently gone LOA to provide information, and I've routinely investigated multiple areas in which your ban was implemented. So the video does indeed suggest that Ghost was arguing with you (which he was, there's no doubt about it and I don't condone that behaviour at all. In fact I pulled him up about this), but there's a key ingredient in the video that appears to be missing as the recording started in mid conversation.

I do not know how long your conversation lasted for, nor when it started. From the information I've gathered, it orbited around the issue involving a PK like you said - however there were other members of staff in the VC that overheard the conversation that stated you started that conversation in particular, which lead to Ghost becoming angry in response in a provoked reaction and then as soon as that initiated - you started recording without stating as such. But I'll go onto the basics. This is a protocol response from this point:

I remember stating clearly to everyone not to post NSFW content on the lore channel as it was actively in use, along with spams of memes clogging the chat.

The one regarding National Socialist input (if I am correct) was issued by Robert. We directly follow Discord terms of service.

The first warn was issued by Goose at the time he was a super administrator, someone very competent and trustworthy in his field at the time before he resigned. Content like that is a real bad case.

They don't tell me anything, as the staff member previously known as Ruffian didn't exactly explain details regarding "Rule 1" - the other issue is the "sending someone's photos w/o their consent." It was also expressed and authorised by Mullin back during that date and time which I found the logs of. Back then, it was a serious concern.

But these three right here are the most recent, contributed by staff that are active. Neonity is one man I know to be level headed in his abilities. I know your past affiliation with Ghost wasn't entirely a positive one, but it gives insight into your previous behaviours if Marlon is also having to warn you.

Your ban will be up for continuous debate and will likely be done so among my peers as well, though under the guise of what's provided and considering these circumstances - I can't lift your ban at this time. There's potential that it may be given if you are truly ready to revitalise your behaviour in general, but I won't say that an appeal to me is a possibility for now as it will require a great deal of convincing among the staff and players that have to deal with your behaviour on our community platforms routinely.

I'll try to VC with you to explain these in upmost detail like you asked, but one negative instance with Ghost doesn't make the rest of the information above coherently disappear. I'll leave this open for the soul sake of discussion, though the decision for now is made if you can provide me with evidence that you are not acting the way as described continuously with those warnings. Other staff can fill in if they wish, same with players.
