Why do you want them to be banned?: Heavy LOOC stalling, Breaking FearRP and doesn't play within the P2L reach. Because he didn't play within the P2L rules he quite literally powergamed. The sitaution was taken into considuration after 1h and 30 min of just pure LOOC talking about what happened. It eventually led to a "re-do" of the situation at which point we now ended up dead. Where more Powergaming and stalling took place and we ended up Pk'ed.


How long do you think they should be banned for?: A resonable ban for the rulesbroken and provided as evidence here.

Evidence to support your reasoning (Evidence must be clear and it could be logs, pictures or video):

Basically... Jonathan Connolly a T1 loyalist has been going around and snitching to the Combine about our faction regarding muggings, illegal equipment and etc. Jonathan was eventually caught in the slums wandering around where he got ambushed by myself and 2 other members of the group. We were all armed and he was fully surrounded. Me and another guy attempted to grab ahold of the guys' collar and drag him away. At which point he somehow dodged my grab? And then counter punched me in the cuts? And then forced /rolls upon us as he was clearly in a P2L state. Quite literally just powergamed. I couldn't care less and continued with the situation as 3 people tried to literally shove him into the sewer elevator. At which point he started to LOOC stall for 20 min. Talking about /Rolls we never did, he walked as slow as he could and sometimes completely stopped and performed /Me's that never got sent. He quite literally did everything he could to not allow the IC situation to continue.

After some time, and A LOT of looc stalling by Jonathan Connolly's side. We somehow got him into the sewer elevator which quite literally shocked anyone body watching seeing how bad Jonathan Connolly was trying to avoid this whole ordeal. We eventually hit the button of the elevator so we would go down, at which point Jonathan Connolly purposely looked and moved himself into an exploitable ledge within the elevator and quite literally glitched himself out of the situation. This was the nail-in the coffin for everyone involved and an Admin sit was in order as this guy was quite literally ruining every aspect of RP.

Jonathan Connolly was shown to heavily contribute with LOOC stalling, and confirmed by the admin "Gulla Na'azh In-game name". 1H and 30 MIN discussion happened during the admin sit at which point we tried to resolve the situation and come up with a solution. He lighlty attacked me and harassed me during the admin sit at which point we came to the conclusion of re-doing the situation at the elevator. Everything went fine as it should, and we made out way into the sewers with Jonathan Connolly around our grasp.

He's eventually thrown out of the elevator in the sewers while we surround him. It comes to the point where i'm readying my cleaver and ready to strike him at which point he doesn't react to my /me. I suppose he just acceptes his fate as i do my 2nd /me where i aim for his throat to end his miserable life. At which point he somehow blocks it with his arm? And begins stalling once again in /LOOC while a seemingly Freed Vortigaunt is about to blast all off us and winds up his /Me's through this entire time.

Jonathan Connolly survived even though he should have taken a cleaver to the throat and was given every chance to block it. And then decides to /looc stall again.
A Vort seemingly appeared in the least convenient place in the massive sewer system and kills me and another guy. Almost as he was waiting for us to arrive. All because Jonathan Connolly couldn't handle a situation correctly.

Proof of him stalling and clearly not being willing to contribute to anything. Really just buying himself as much time as possible so CP's can show up.

Here he is powergaming for the 2nd time were i gave him 2 /me's of reaction time of putting up his arm and deffend himself etc. Instead he's shocked about the Freed Vortigaunt pulling up. And when i actually strike him he begins to stall, letting the Vort charge up his vortal beam.

I ended up dead, Another guy ended up dead. And Jonathan Connolly somehow survived... If the situation actually came out right from the beginning and actually stop stalling the 2nd re-do we would have probably made it out alive seeing how Jonathan Connolly stalled once again and got this magical vortigaunt who seemingly popped out of nowhere to do all his /me's to start blasting everybody.

This guy alone has now ruined an entire faction and faces no consequenses for his actions. Once again giving the snitching problem a lead again. Can't believe we payed the consequenses "IC" because of what he has done.

This is a fairly clear example of powergame, as you decided he would die from this no matter how he reacted. You argued in LOOC with me (who was supervising the murder) to which I informed you to let him react or face a weeklong ban.

By chance the freed Vortigaunt showed up and attempted to stop you from killing him, since he recognized you as the gang which was terrorizing the slums. Both parties agreed to TBC and you died—no surprise there. You attempted to kill a Vortigaunt with melee weapons. Once you both died, you were PKed according to rule 4 of the PK rules.

This is the FIRST /Me of me attacking him:

I was readying my cleaver and was aiming to hit him. But instead of /Me reacting to the situation by blocking it with his arm. He instead was "Shocked" by me lifting my cleaver attemting to hit him, and focusing on the Vortigaunt behind me instead. I gave him time to react and he didn't block it. Therefor i did my 2nd /me where i killed him instantly as he was quite literally not doing any reacting to me attempting to hit him. He just accepting his fate.

So, i therefor was aiming to kill as he didn't protect himself. He quite literally did his /me "lifting his arm to protect himself" when i had literally just gone for his throat. It's more powergaming to /me "lift his arm" when he's already dead and the reaction time of deffending himself is already up. I was raising my knife and was about to strike him. How does this address what I said? You're cherry-picking logs to make it seem like he didn't want to redo, which he did. This is malicious behavior.

We provided RP oppertunities and actually a resonable gang that contributed to some dangers around the slums and what-not. We provided resonable Roleplaying qualites and we had multiple people saying that it actually sparked some interesting life. Please, provided the evidence of this mingery that you so stated. He began stalling in /looc and you threatning me with 1 week ban for apparently powergaming when he got a whole /me to react. What is the problem? What did i do wrong? The question is more pointed towards Jonathan Connolly who stalled ONCE AGAIN for the entire duration of the Vortigaunt doing 3 /me's to charge up his beam and delete me. I had barely finished my newly created /me before:

At which point you and Jonathan Connolly started distrupted in LOOC about the "supposingly" powergaming and wanted me to turn around again and re-do it. But this time hitting his arm.

You see the situation i'm dealing with here? I've been quite literally been screwed over by some powergaming that doesn't exist. HE had a whole /Me to react. And he didn't. And i simply killed him off by hitting his throat and he had to simply /react his death. But for some reason i had to re-do the /Me that lead to me being literally blasted in the back.

I put my effort and time into this. Dedicating my resources of putting all this together and actually creating groups to contribute and give roleplaying opportunites. You refuse to even address the points I am making. I saw the whole situation transpire; I know what happened.

You had the chance to stop attacking the man and run because that is what the Vortigaunt told you to do. On multiple occasions, you were given orders by the Vort to cease your attack and leave the sewers. You refused and continued murdering the man, and as a result were killed. Stalling had nothing to do with this situation... You could have easily survived if you simply stopped attacking him.

As I said before, the first /me given by Connolly was made under the assumption that you were going to FearRP and acquiesce to the Vort's demands. Since you did not, he gave an actual reaction to you which was a perfectly reasonable one at that. You chose to attempt to kill him, and the Vort punished you for it.

If your RP was so good, then how come one of your members had "baller" in his description? This is obviously playing on a stereotype and is borderline racist. You also stole the name from a well-known American gang, which serves as further indication that your group is basically a joke.

You claim to provide RP to the server? Mugging and murdering is pretty bland, and not very conducive to RP. Maybe try to be a unique group instead of just another criminal band full of thugs hounding for scripts.

Currently investigating this request.

Apologies for the above comments from one of our staff members. CMs have taken a quick read through and are looking into things, however, it does seem that the player in question (Jonathan Connolly) is indeed stalling quite often. As for what they are attempting to stall for is unknown to us at this time, but looks like he is indeed trying to stall the RP as much as possible.

Moving further down, however, we come to the events of the free vort, the death blow and so on. This is where we need to do more investigation before we may continue since depending on what happened here can change the state of the ban. Since the stalling is still true, but it seems like there may be some slight powergame to be looked into here as well.

Once this investigation is concluded, we will update this thread with all points necessary to be made. Please be patient for the time being.

Hello,

After some more investigation with CMs and other staff members. It was deemed that this request is to be:

ACCEPTED

Jonathan will be PK'ed, warned for the stalling and issued a 24-hour ban for failure to P2L (3v1), Trying to protect his character and overall stalling as much as humanely possible. Even when the staff offered a replay, he declined it because it was not in his favour. This means the overall end result is:

1. Your characters are PK'ed (Due to fighting the Vort and dying.)
2. Jonathan is PK'ed (3v1)
3. Jonathan is also issued a 24 hour ban + warn for his actions
