Banned because eProtect broke

Why do you wish to be unbanned?:
For a few days now half the time I join the server the console is spammed with "[eProtect] We have automatically detected alt accounts from White The Bunny for Correlated IP."
I thought it was a glitch, so I reset my router a few times and confirmed I had a different IP. I join back and it still say ""[eProtect] We have automatically detected alt accounts from White The Bunny for Correlated IP.""
Even with a new IP it says that. That proves eProtect is lying. I reinstalled garrys mod thinking maybe it was my folder corrupt, and still same error message in console when I join.
Then yesterday I join and I check console after resetting my router again and it does not do it, so I thought the glitch was fixed. Then I join today then it still does it.
I gave up trying to fix the stupid bug, eProtect was wrong I switched IP many times and still give me trouble. Then just an hour ago I get kicked in middle of roleplay

A brand new error! This shows that eProtect is broken as I was able to join back. I quit before joining to get dinner and then I see @Rabithunter manually banned me. I think he saw the errors and believed them.



Do you have any picture or video evidence to support your reason?: @Rabithunter can check and see my IP manually, you can see that it is not Correlated to any accounts. It would be impossible for all 4-5 of the times I reset my router that every single time it matched up with a banned IP. It show that eProtect is broken, not me.
I think Rabit just saw error in logs and did not comb through to see if it was real. If I was Rabit I would do same thing if I saw eProtect saying this though.

Were there any witnesses who can help in this appeal?: (List the steam and/or character names of them or tag them)

You're getting flagged because one of those IP addresses, logged at 02/10/2024 20:15:00 matches that of someone who was banned on a throwaway account, which that IP was logged at 02/20/2024 02:12:43. That particular address is a VPN, as well as a couple others following that. It appears you then disabled your VPN and reset your router a few times as you started to get non-VPN IPs and you were able to rejoin.

EProtect will continually flag you every time your IP changes after you've got a match. Given that its only a VPN match it could be a coincidence. Regardless, connecting your VPN to some other place, or getting a different IP from your router should clear that up.

Should I just not use a VPN then? I sometimes use a VPN to torrent and play at the same time, and I need a VPN to torrent but I can stop doing it when I'm playing in future.

I am not using vpn now.

What weird is that when I use this without VPN (the IP I using now) even then I still got eProtect say "[eProtect] We have automatically detected alt accounts from White The Bunny for Correlated IP"

Do that error pop up even when not using VPN? Or it just so happen I use VPN once that had that previous banned user and I will now get that error forever? Seem like eProtect problem.
