How long is the ban for?: permanent

The reason you were banned?: major metagame. As i recall my character was taken by CPs for one reason or another and i thought it would be a good idea to lie and say i have some names of insurgent loyalists so that they wouldn't kill me. I gave some names i heard here and there, one on a city broadcast and others i thought my character knew IC (one of them i later found out OOC was indeed a rebel and a terrible coincidence). I was asked if i knew where their base was, i said yes thinking i could try and run away on the way there before they know i am a liar. As the officers led me to the slums i was basically lost, not knowing where a base was OOC or IC. The officers followed close behind, then as i walked past a building the captain said something like "It's this way, isn't it?" looking towards one of the buildings. I said yes, following along desparate to save my ass, then we all came up to a door, where the captain stopped, saying "Is it past this door?" .. Again i said yes, not really thinking. The door i remember had a text saying 'Can only be accessed with IC key' which of course my character didn't have, i do not recall if the officers rp'd breaking through the door or not. At this point i wasn't sure why the captain and officers were behaving this way because i'm not very smart. At this time i wasn't familiar enough with this form of metagame (having to IC show CP's obvious containers and doors) which of course is my fault, so when they asked me to point out the containers i saw rebels using (which were clearly placed around the room) i just pointed out two containers at random. The officers then burnt down the entire storage room and i found out i was banned a few hours later.

I felt horrible about this situation after i understood what i did to the people involved, i guess i just wanted to save my character at the time and the anxiety + sleep deprivation clouded my judgement. I also wasn't familiar with this side of metagame as i never had a true rebel character. I believe i only found out i got banned when i opened discord and people were raging about the metagame in the situation, understandably so. I did think the names i gave to the CP's my character had heard before randomly, but Alex Weaver was killed for being an insurgent (later unpk'd i think) I was wrong in revealing the IC door and containers, again i wasn't familiar enough with this part of the rules at the time and wasn't thinking properly.

Why do you wish to be unbanned?: I know what i did was really stupid and i regretted it as soon as it happened, i did not appeal the ban because people on discord were convinced i targetted specific individuals and had malicious intent, i thought there's no way anyone would believe i didn't. I truly never wanted it to get that far but i was stupid. I have since read through the rules with a lot more care, when playing i stop myself to analyze the situation from an OOC perspective and keep the rules in mind at all times. Again this server feels like a necessity to me and one of the few things that would distract me from my depression and other things which resulted in me trying to find a way to continue playing on this server using an alt (after some time), although it's not an excuse. I made sure that i learnt from my mistakes as i would never want to break the server rules again or cause OOC trouble.

Hello again Maefry/Bees!

As stated before in your previous ban appeal for Ban Evading - All of this has been discussed beforehand with the Staff Team in great detail. We really appreciate you're coming forward and admitting to this. From what we've seen of you whilst on your Alt account, you've had no issue in following the rules and seem to get along well with the community. Despite the gravity of the situation, it was indeed a year ago and despite being on the server when you weren't supposed to, you've shown you've changed quite a bit.

That being said however - The Ban Evading and the Metagame in question cannot go unpunished. Considering you began ban evading shortly after the original ban was placed, you'll still have to face punishment for this.

Therefore, rather than keeping your ban permanent - It will be REDUCED to 2 months.
Please do not attempt to ban evade during this time.

We understand Willard helps you when times are troubled, and without stepping out of line too much, it may be in your benefit to enrich your own life and find the root source of your struggles and come up with a more long term solution. Willard is a great relief for those struggling - Though Counseling or other methods may be a better choice for you in the long run!
