Topic/subject: Book Edit Limit
Whom it may concern
: Dev Team?
Summary: Get rid of the book edit limit, frustrating to use in a system that's already out-of-date.
In depth analysis of the issue: The book edit limit of 3 edits often restricts the ability for someone to write properly. Books often have to go through multiple revisions and if a mistake is missed after the third edit time to get another blank book as the in-game mechanic limits you from using a rubber apparently.
Suggestion for improvement: Either increase the limit or remove it entirely for books.

Americans when they hear the word rubber 👀

I would be interested in perhaps upping the limit, maybe even possibly adding erasers and pencils to give the books extra functionality/requirements?

Hijacking this post to expand upon Armenian's ideas.
This has been implemented mostly flawlessly in other RP servers, so it's a mystery to me as to why it hasn't been added to Willard yet.

Make books act like actual books and not two sticky notes taped to eachother.

Infinite (or at least a neat high number like 64) pages, heightened editability, possibly even inserting images via imgur links like forums can. It's so sad to see books be completely neglected in character, as even attempts to showcase them like the 7 libraries we've had fall short because of it's inherent 2-page limits.
The only argument against expanding book/paper functionality is that "if we remove the edit limit then no one will buy them from stores" which is stupid? We're always gonna need MORE paper and MORE books. They're routinely removed/destroyed/used up in some way. If you're worried about this, implement a Minecraft-like system: everyone can edit and modify books with as many pages as you want, but as soon as you sign it and give it a name, it stays like that forever.

So many missed chances of in-character propaganda, manifestos, pamphlets and similar have been squandered since the beginning. Every Loyalbro under the sun would KILL to be able to rant about their made-up ideologies for pages and pages on end.

I beg the dev team to not only change the limited book edits, but to rework books and paper completely. It's sorely missing from the otherwise rejuvenated and expanded new Willard mechanics.

Moving this to suggestions for easier access.

Better late than never. It's being discussed internally to see if this is something people would want.

As someone that writes sometimes, Yeah would be nice not being punished for doing all my writing in game

I forgot to reply, this has been ACCEPTED as of last week.
The limit of rewrites per book has been doubled from 3 > 6
