With the rail-line rebuilt the combine were slowly but surely rebuilding its lost connections. On one fateful day at a checkpoint near the industrial district an unknown anti-citizen force assaults the compound with a decent amount of casualties from both sides. Almost instantaneously, the delegates stationed in stasis became active, tasked with hunting down the remaining survivors they go out on a dropship to never return. With absolutely no information regarding as to why the connection was lost, it was decided to send an investigative team of civil protection units and a few overwatch soldiers from industrial 24 to find out what happened.

A few hours go by before an unknown unit speaks through the radio, his tagline not even recognized by the locals of the industrial district. TRAUMA-33 has arrived. Dispatch fill the ears of the units informing of the task required. They have been given a few days to decide whether to join him or not, the promise of rewards seep into their minds. It's just an investigation mission, what's the worst that can happen?
