Can we ban AI altogether from Willard Main?

I do not think I need to go into some massive explanation on why AI should be banned from Willard Main. It's effortless, lacking quality and just overall slop. This is meant to be a place to show off creative output and the least remotely interesting means to even achieve that is through the usage of AI.

This is one example of this. I genuinely don't get what was it not easier to just create a regular reply using your words rather than having to rely on shitty graphics made by a slop AI Data Center.

There is a lot of members that have graphic skills and some of them would surely be kind enough to give you the time of day to help you make stuff if your idea is remotely interesting to them of course! It's the same stuff I did with @Kamilisha Haijulikani where thanks to him I have a lot of material to work for my political party!

Can we stop with the slop? Please and ty!

Do you all think a forum thread titled "Creative Tutoring" or "Creative Tutorials" for people interested in expanding their knowledge base into the community with their own threads and guides? Or would you prefer something like that to be it's own sub-category in the Creative Corner, with pins?

Should just be posted in guides.

That can work just as much. Depends on what y'all want.

I can't speak for most but looking at the bigger picture, personally would be best to have a 'Creative Tutorial' section within the guide postings with staff or selected volunteers that have pinned posts for a sort of entry base/starting point. With all posts after that from everyone in the community who choses to post a tutorial/tutoring within an open source basis to bring ideas, techniques and perspectives to breed a creative culture [of sorts] so the same style is not oversaturated and personalized to the person's own creations.

People need to start somewhere and with people given the knowledge and tools to do so will help tremendously bring people away from using the easy way via A.I. while building confidence in their own creations.

This doesn't have to be limited to photoshop or it's alternatives, it can also cover posing, lighting and etc. in GMod, SFM, blender.

Community Management has a meeting on Saturday so we will add this as one of the core discussion points about the Artificial Intelligence debate. We'll bring about an permanent answer to an otherwise persistent concern at that point.

Adding on- Community thread moved to the complaints forum thread.

We don't really need to regulate this. It (AI art) is already disallowed in-game and derided on the forums. I think people are easily bandwagoning on a popular topic because it's universally agreeable, but it's really just virtue signalling when we've only had a few instances of players, mind you, using AI art for their documents, something that happens in virtually all communities.

I don't think schizo's complaint is about all AI, too. I think this is more specifically about AI art & media (images & writing).

Its use stops in-game, which is the only place we should care to moderate it; not the forums, not people's bios. Players have been punished in the past for using AI-written emotes and text, and since late v3, we've effectively banned AI art in-game.

Mister Kamilisha, are you dipping in the data centers1783621929833.png

I think using AI on apps of any kind just shows that you are not willing to put in the effort and is unfair to others if you get accepted over them (if they put in a decent effort).
