On holiday rn but i think i know who you are referring to. Yes, characters are not allowed to be recreated after death.

Due to a mess with our rules and guidelines however, i do believe the no named player you are referring to has some special conditions to follow.

Now wearing the same clothes doesnt bother me since all my chars only wear a specific but small collection of clothing due to preference. Names and descriptions are cared about and cant be similar nor the same as a dead character.

Personality... all my chars for example have matching if not the same personality 80% of the time.

But yes, the char you refer to was given special conditions and told that they may make a new char somewhat similar to their dead char given the following is different:

- all loyalty lost
- all characters forgotten
- all locations forgotten
- different name and desc, nothing can be similar
- does not refer to the old character

Basically new char pretty much with some minor auth'ed starting bonuses

i dont see any problem. exceptions are always made and I'm satisfied with the conditions given, it just depends on the player given such conditions to appropriately act them out. I don't know whether or not this thread was made in relation to the person people are complaining about but if you got an issue, make a report.

Ye, got word of it from other staff and now it is resolved. His description was changed as i hear and was warned not to refer to his old character. Should hopefully be cleared up now.
